Rising Star advanced three singers to the next round after they won their respective head-to-head live duel during Sunday night's broadcast of the new ABC reality singing competition.

Rising Star's fourth episode featured three head-to-head duels in which two artists competed against one another to remain on the show. In each duel, the first performer sang with the wall up and America voted "yes" or "no" via the Rising Star phone application for whether they'd like to see that person continue on. That singer received a final score to beat.

Afterward, the second person in each duel took the stage and sang a different song with the wall down. If that singer beat the first performer's score via America's vote, the wall would rise and that person would advance to the next round. A coin toss determined who would go first in each duel. The singer with the highest percentage of live votes in each duel would live to see another week.

Alice J. Lee, a 25-year-old from Chicago, IL, sang "Wings" and earned a 69% score. She went up against Lisa Punch from Brooklyn, NY, who sang "Perfect." Lisa lost after receiving a score of 66%.

Megan Tibbits, a 26-year-old from Caro, MI, performed "Summertime" and racked in 71% of America's vote. She faced off against Sarah Darling, a 31-year-old from Nashville, TN, who sang "I Hope You Dance" and earned a 69% score. Megan therefore won the duel.

The wall did rise, however, for Jesse Kinch, a 20-year-old from Seaford, NY, who performed second in his duel. He was dubbed victorious after receiving a 90% score for his "Whipping Post" performance. Jesse beat out Will Roth, a 24-year-old from Watauga, TX, for the win. Will sang "Wrecking Ball" and earned a score of 57%.

Rising Star host Josh Groban also revealed one of the three eliminated singers will still be able to advance in the competition thanks to the West Coast's voting totals.

The three weeks of live duels will feature 20 artists total taking the stage for a second time.
