After skipping the show's last two editions, Julianne Hough will reportedly return to Dancing with the Stars just in time to promote her sophomore album and her first major film role.

The two-time Dancing with the Stars professional champion will return for the ABC reality competition's eleventh season this fall, a source close to the show told Access Hollywood in a Monday report.

Hough's Dancing with the Stars return will apparently coincide with the release of her second album at the end of the year and the box-office debut of Burlesque -- a new film that will also feature Christina Aguilera, Cher, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci.

Hough stated in November 2008 that she would not be back for the show's Spring 2009 eighth season and subsequently reiterated the decision was "final" because she wanted to focus on her singing career and be "taken seriously" as a musician.

However shortly thereafter Hough stated she "may have put my foot in my mouth when I said I wasn't going to come back next season" -- and that turned out to be the case when she was paired with then-boyfriend Chuck Wicks for the eighth season, which she later explained was a "last-minute deal."

Even before Hough and Wicks were ousted from the competition, she said she still planned to skip the ninth season -- a decision she followed through on -- and she is also absent from the currently-airing tenth season cast.
