One of Dancing with the Stars' perennial tenth-season leaders continued to shine while another lost his footing and fell from the top spot.

Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger and her professional partner Derek Hough finished in first place on Dancing with the Stars' judging leaderboard during Monday night's eighth tenth-season performance show.

Monday night's performance episode featured the competition's five remaining couples each performing a ballroom routine and a decade-themed Latin routine, which were scored by Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Scherzinger and Hough finished in first after both of their routines -- as they scored a 29 out of 30 possible points for their foxtrot before receiving a perfect score of 30 for their 1950s era Paso Doble, giving them a total of 59 points on the night. They also received the only perfect 30 of the evening.

Despite finishing tied atop the judges' leaderboard with Scherzinger and Hough following last week's performances, Olympic gold-medal figure skater Evan Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya slipped to second this week.

Lysacek and Trebunskaya received 27 points for their waltz before earning 26 points for their futuristic cha-cha-cha for a combined score of 53 points.

They found themselves tied with ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy -- who received 28 points for their Argentine tango and 25 points for their 1980s rumba.

In a distant third with a combined score of 45 points were NFL star Chad Ochocinco and his partner Cheryl Burke. The couple received 21 points for their tango and 24 points for their 1960s jive.

Actress, comedian and Clean House host Niecy Nash and her partner Louis van Amstel found themselves in last place for the second consecutive week. They scored 23 points for their Viennese waltz before receiving 20 points for their 1990s Paso Doble, giving them a combined score of 23 points.

The judges' scoring and home viewer votes cast after Monday night's performances will now be combined and one of the five celebrity and professional pairings will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars' seventh tenth-season results show tonight at 8PM ET/PT.
