Nick joked in the promo he's been channeling his inner champion and plans to make Blake cry next season, adding, "The newbie has become a master."

Blake joked Nick is "cutely scary" and gushed, "I'm so happy you're back!"

Gwen, Kelly, Blake and John currently star as coaches on The Voice's nineteenth season, which has reached The Knockout Round portion of the NBC reality competition.

Nick first joined The Voice as a coach in Season 18, which aired in Spring 2020. During that season, Nick brought singer Thunderstorm Artis to the show's finale but Todd Tilghman ended up winning the show for his coach Blake Shelton.

When Nick joined The Voice family for his first season, he said he couldn't wait to help artists build and hone in to find their unique voices.
