Married at First Sight star Miles Williams says it's tough to wait for physical intimacy to happen in his marriage to Karen Landry and if it doesn't come with time, they'll both have to move on.

Miles, a 26-year-old who works with youth from Spartanburg, SC, and Karen, a 30-year-old consultant from New Orleans, LA, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Viviana Coles and Dr. Pepper Schwartz to marry on Season 11 of the Lifetime reality series.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Miles watched back a Season 11 clip in which he and Karen played a game of "Two Truths and One Lie," which required each spouse to pick out the false information out of three statements.

"It was time for us to get to know each other a little bit better. I think we have a lot of heavy conversations that we probably wouldn't have had at this point," Miles shared.

"So we were like, 'You know what? Let's spend some time getting to know each other in a kind of fun and silly way,' and I'm glad we were able to do that."

While Miles and Karen continued to bond, Unfiltered host Jamie Otis, who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight, asked Miles how content he was with the lack of sexual affection in his relationship about a month into the experiment.

"I mean, it's tough," Miles admitted.

"But at the same time, like, all good things are worth waiting for. And so when that time comes, it's going to be special and it's going to be great when it does come."

But Miles admitted, "And if it doesn't [happen], we'll move on. But I think that right now to expect Karen and to push Karen to be sexual when she's not feeling that way, that's not who I am."

Pepper joined Miles on Unfiltered and said she liked the idea of Miles and Karen being more playful in their relationship.

"There's a lot of pressure in this process... I think this particular couple really needs to have fun. The pressure of the eight weeks I think needs to be diluted, and then when you're coming up to having to say where you are at your midpoint -- are you going to recommit? -- you need to have some laughs and smiles and fun under your belt and show some affection that way," Pepper explained.

"It may be true that people aren't ready to have sex with one another in a month, but I sure hope they can be affectionate. And I saw a lot of affection in that kidding around."

It's definitely taking time for Karen to warm up to Miles on Married at First Sight's currently-airing season. She didn't even kiss her husband until after the pair had moved into together in New Orleans following their honeymoon.

However, Karen has promised Miles on multiple occasions she will try to meet his needs and be more complimentary and expressive about her feelings. She has also grown pretty comfortable around Miles, which Miles said "meant the world" to him.

"I came into [the show] with the mindset I wanted to marry somebody who was going to be my best friend, and I think that's been the way we've taken it, our pace," Miles said on Unfiltered.

"I want to see if we have a friendship first, and I think that foundation will be helpful for us moving forward, and I'm happy with where we are."

On last week's episode of Unfiltered, Karen told Jamie that she believed Miles and herself were on their way to being more physical with each other.

"But I also don't want to force it. I really want it to be natural," Karen said.

"I don't want to feel like, 'Oh yeah, we're going there just because we're married.' I really want it to be that natural energy and chemistry that leads us to that."

While Miles once dated a girl whom he didn't sleep with for two years, Miles did admit on the September 9 broadcast of Unfiltered he's "used to moving a little bit faster" in relationships.

The latest episode of Married at First Sight featured Miles and Karen reaching a breaking point in their marriage about 10 weeks into the extreme experiment. ("Decision Day" was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the couples needing to be in lockdown in New Orleans).

Karen, who was working at a hospital through the pandemic, said she felt "exhausted" physically, emotionally and mentally, and Miles felt bored, unwanted and seemingly depressed.

"She cannot say or has said, 'I want to be with you,' and if you can't say that, then in my mind, this isn't what you want," Miles explained to the cameras.

And Karen noted, "I can't necessarily give Miles or the relationship the attention I would like to and it just makes things between us even more tense."

Karen told Pepper through videochat she had begged Miles not to suppress his feelings while trying to be "Mr. Nice Guy" because she didn't want him to develop resentment towards her.

"I feel like [that] has happened. Last night, he said I wasn't trying in this relationship, and he even told me, like, 'If Decision Day was today, I would choose not to be married because I don't feel like you're putting in effort,'" Karen recalled in tears.

Miles admitted to Pastor Cal he wasn't sure if Karen even has the capacity to love him the way he needs to be loved.

Miles sometimes wondered why he was still sticking around, especially when his wife questioned his masculinity.

When the pair talking through their issues, Karen told Miles that she wanted to see more of his raw, genuine self, and in turn, she promised to give Miles for affection and attention "naturally."

The pair agreed they needed to get back to having fun and cracking jokes, and Miles told the cameras, "I want to feel like we're progressing and getting better each day. That's what we need and what I think each of us deserves."
