Married at First Sight star Molly Duff has returned to social media following an eight-week hiatus.

Molly was under fire during Married at First Sight's sixth season because of the way she treated her Jonathan Francetic, whom she married on the show. After saying she was a victim of verbal abuse on social media, Molly opted to take a break from her accounts.

"Hi loves! Its been a nice break/much needed social media detox," Molly tweeted on Tuesday night, confirming her comeback.

"Only on for a sec to say I'm no longer private on IG & that's where I post these days! Sorry to those who requested awhile ago, it wiped out all the pending requests. Anyway here I amm. IG:mollyelisabeth92."

Molly also posted a photo of herself and an unidentified young man at Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale, FL, this past weekend on Instagram, sparking speculation she may be dating again following her split from Jonathan.

Prior to sharing that picture, Molly hadn't posted anything on Instagram since May 13, which was Mother's Day.

But Molly's inactivity on Twitter lasted much longer, as she signed off following a heated post on April 6.

"So sad that people think it's ok to send me death threats & tell me I deserve to die from what they see from 10 minutes shown out of every 30 hours of filming out of every 168 hours of the week. Staying off social media until people stop tagging me in horrible comments," Molly tweeted last month.

"To the rest of you who have been supportive from the beginning and are smart enough to understand that things arnt always as they appear, thank you so much for your continued support and positive energy."

Shortly before making that statement on Twitter, Molly warned her followers there was a "100 percent" chance she'd block anyone who writes a nasty or offensive comment.

"No one has any idea what this experience is really like unless you've done it and people seem to forget we are people too," Molly wrote at the time.

Many Married at First Sight viewers cringed watching Molly deprive Jonathan of any emotion or intimacy for weeks on the show, which filmed in Boston, MA.

From an editing standpoint, Jonathan appeared patient and kind, while Molly was just going through the motions of her marriage.

Molly, however, insisted she was just misunderstood and had put all of her effort into the arranged marriage. Molly also claimed Jonathan wasn't a perfect husband, and viewers simply didn't see his faults and mistakes.

Regardless, Molly and Jonathan decided to split even before the experiment was over, and the pair confirmed their divorce on "Decision Day" during the April 24 season finale of Married at First Sight on Lifetime.

Earlier this month, Lifetime announced Married at First Sight's seventh season -- which will follow couples in Dallas, TX -- will premiere on the network on July 10.

Married at First Sight's Season 7 cast has not yet been announced.
