Married at First Sight couple Miles Williams and Karen Landry were apparently ready for a change of scenery and decided to put some distance between themselves and Amani Rashid-Smith and Woody Randall.

In the process of making predictions and sizing up Married at First Sight's Season 12 couples, who will face "Decision Day" on next week's episode on Lifetime, Miles and Karen provided viewers with a relationship update of their own.

"Karen and Miles, anything new with you guys?!" Elizabeth asked.

"Yeah, so we just moved into a new spot!" Miles revealed. "Unfortunately, that means we moved a little bit farther away from Woody and Amani, but we still hang out and we still love each other."

Miles and his best friend Woody appeared to live right down the street from each other in New Orleans, LA, when they agreed to marry total strangers on Married at First Sight's eleventh season, which aired in 2020.

"We just had to make a move for ourselves," Miles explained, "and now we have a new spot and we're excited about it."

The cast congratulated Miles and Karen on their new place, and Elizabeth exclaimed, "Good for you guys!"

However, Miles admitted he and Karen are definitely not ready for kids. When Woody asked all of the couples if anyone had any baby news to share, Miles immediately replied, "Hell no!"

"I know we're waiting too," Woody said, before Elizabeth revealed she and Jamie plan to start trying for a baby by the end of this year.

On a recent episode of Married at First Sight: Couples Cam, fans discovered Miles and Karen also decided against getting a puppy together.

While Miles really pushed for a dog and let his wife know how much he'd love having a furbaby around, Karen didn't feel ready yet and bought her husband a pet fish instead.

During Married at First Sight's eleventh-season reunion special that aired in October of last year, Miles said he and Karen were meeting each other's needs and they "made a commitment to each other" to "choose each other every day."

"Every day is not easy -- most of them are -- but we find those difficult moments and it's [about] working through them and talking through them and ultimately realizing that we are married and we are committed to each other," he explained.

"Each day, we're just trying to stay married by making sure we're doing whatever it takes to make that happen."

Miles and Karen got married about a month before New Orleans residents were asked to quarantine amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"We quarantined together for a couple months, so that was really tough. The majority of our marriage has been in quarantine, but I feel like if we can overcome this, we can overcome pretty much anything," Miles said.

On Married at First Sight's eleventh season, Karen struggled to express herself to Miles and compliment him.

Karen desired an assertive manly-man who would put her in her place sometimes, and the sweet and sensitive Miles wasn't sure he could provide what Karen needed from him.

"I'm a person who's open and talks about my feelings a lot. She thinks I'm overly emotional and that f-cking pisses me off!" Miles vented to a friend in one episode.

Nearly 16 weeks into marriage, Karen and Miles also lacked physical intimacy, resulting in Miles feeling unwanted and unattractive. Karen barely kissed or held her husband's hand throughout the season.

But Karen was able to open up more once Miles stopped being "Mr. Nice Guy" and could be his genuine, authentic self around her. Karen also appreciated Miles' guts and honesty when he expressed how he desired more affection and reassurance in their marriage.

Miles seemed very conflicted on "Decision Day," telling the cameras that his head and his heart were in "two different places."

"My head is saying, 'You've been married for four months and you haven't gotten what you need and you should get a divorce,'" Miles said in a confessional.

"My heart is saying, 'Karen is the type of person that you wanted and what she has shown you in the last three or four weeks is somebody you could see spending the rest of your life with, for sure.'"

Miles added, "I think that's what makes this a very complicated decision... I don't know if she'll be able to meet my needs physically and emotionally."

However, both Miles and Karen opted to stay married on "Decision Day" after determining their marriage really only started about three weeks prior once cameras left them alone and production shut down due to the spread of COVID-19.

"I can see myself spending the rest of my life with Miles," Karen gushed on the show's finale.

"I think we still have work to do, but just based off who he is and how we've been the last few weeks, I can see us growing into love, and I'm really excited for that."

Married at First Sight's currently-airing twelfth season stars Erik Lake and Virginia Coombs, Haley Harris and Jacob Harder, Ryan Oubre and Clara Berghaus, Briana Myles and Vincent Morales, and Paige Banks and Chris Williams.

Paige and Chris chose to end their marriage and pursue a divorce shortly before their one-month anniversary, but based on a preview for the upcoming episode, fans may be in for a big surprise on "Decision Day."
