Married at First Sight couple Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie celebrated their first holiday season together with an ugly Christmas sweater party last weekend.

Deonna took to Instagram on Sunday and posted a selfie with Greg as well as a series of pictures from the party showing guests wearing tacky Christmas sweaters.

"Thanks to everyone that came and celebrated with us tonight! Our first ever Ugly Christmas Sweater Party was a success!! Definitely will be doing again next year!! Merry Christmas y’all, love all of you!!" Deonna captioned the slideshow of images.

Deonna went on to tag more than a handful of people who apparently attended their party.

Deonna and Greg were also feeling merry when they got an early start on the Christmas season and decorated their first Christmas tree together on November 23 -- five days before Thanksgiving even occurred!

"Today @gregokotie and I got in the holiday spirit and put up our FIRST Christmas tree! It turned out great!! Tomorrow we'll finish up the rest of the house! I love the holidays!" Deonna captioned before and after photos of the big tree.

Deonna and Greg's marriage has apparently been going strong ever since they tied the knot on Season 9 of Married at First Sight, which aired its finale on Lifetime in September and was filmed earlier this year.

The couple has even launched a joint line of T-shirts that read positive messages about love and marriage such as "Married Life is a Good Life."

Throughout Married at First Sight's ninth edition, Deonna was slow to open up to Greg. She had trouble being vulnerable and expressing her feelings and emotions to her husband, especially since she hadn't dated in 10 years prior to getting married.

Greg, on the other hand, wore his heart on his sleeve but tended to overanalyze things too much and ask too many questions. While the couple seemed to get along great, communication was lacking in their relationship and they had to work at it.

Deonna and Greg, however, never got into a serious fight, nor did they ever disrespect one another. Greg worked to be more patient for Deonna, and she in turn fought to break down her walls.

On "Decision Day," both Deonna and Greg opted to stay married and admitted they were on the path to falling in love.

Deonna revealed during Married at First Sight's reunion special she had arrived at the decision to remain Greg's wife because their off-camera time together was "very intentional" and they engaged in "deep conversations."

"I looked back at those moments and thought, 'How did I feel?' And that's when I knew," Deonna shared.

Deonna also disclosed she ended up being the first person to say, "I love you," in their relationship, although Greg's feelings for Deonna seemed further along during the show.

After filming Season 9 wrapped, Deonna and her dog Sandy moved into Greg's house. Greg joked it was "a takeover" and her stuff was everywhere.

Greg is also apparently allergic to dogs, but Deonna pointed out during the reunion special that love conquers all.

When asked at the reunion whether babies are in their future, Deonna responded, "We do have some news. The family is expanding... We are expecting. But we are expecting a nephew. My sister is expecting; we're going to be uncle and aunts."

Deonna predicted at the time, however, she and Greg would start a family in the next year-and-a-half to two years.

The tenth season of Married at First Sight will premiere January 1 on Lifetime and feature couples who live in the Washington, D.C. area.

The cast of five couples starring on the next edition was announced earlier this month.

Married at First Sight has also been picked up for an eleventh edition, which will also air in 2020 and likely be filmed in New Orleans, LA, based on a recent casting call.
