D.C., a comic from Washington, DC, who currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, was eliminated from last night's show after he lost the stand-up challenge at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles to his opponent Lachlan Patterson from Vancouver, B.C., who currently resides in Venice Beach, CA.

The episode began with the 8 remaining finalists being pre-interviewed by The Ellen DeGeneres Show's producers for a chance to be interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres herself on her talk show.

After being mentored by the famous Wanda Sykes, three comics were selected to be guests on DeGeneres' show. They were Monroe Martin from Philadelphia, PA, who currently resides in Brooklyn, NY; Rod Man from Villa Rica, GA, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA; and Nikki Carr from Bronx, NY.

After their comedic interviews, the talk show's audience voted for a winner, who would receive immunity from the season's second head-to-head vote. Rod Man impressed the most and became safe from elimination.

The comics then each voted for someone whom they believed they're funnier than. The comic to receive the most votes typically gets to choose whom he or she would like to compete against in the stand-up challenge out of the contestants who cast their votes for him or her. Since Rod Man won the previous challenge, no one could vote for him, however, his vote still counted.

Lachlan received the most votes and chose to face-off against D.C. in this week's stand-up challenge.

Last Comic Standing judges Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters then determined the winner of the stand-up challenge, and that person was Lachlan. D.C. was therefore sent home.
