Lamar Odom is allegedly suffering from a drug overdose and his bad portrayal on a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians fueled his weekend of partying in a Nevada brothel.

Odom, a former NBA star and the ex of Khloe Kardashian, was hospitalized Tuesday after being found unconscious in a brothel. Doctors have said "cocaine and opiates" were found in Odom's system, People reported.

A source said doctors are treating Odom's condition as an "overdose," according to E! News, and brain damage is "likely" due to a "loss of oxygen but also possible stroke."

"Virtually every drug imaginable was found in his system," the source said, insisting however that Odom is not brain dead.

The source told E! News Odom had been partying since Friday despite the brothel's strict no-drug policy.

"He was doing crack cocaine all weekend and he choked on his mucous," the source explained. "They're now having to fix all the damage it has done."

An insider at Dennis Hof's Bunny Love Ranch said Odom was popping 8 to 10 herbal Viagras at a time, according to TMZ. Witnesses also saw track marks on Odom's arm, adding that he suffered several seizures since being admitted to the hospital and has a 50% chance of survival.

Odom's situation does not appear to be a suicide attempt although he reportedly requested privacy in the hours leading up to the incident. Instead, it could be the long term effects of Odom's alleged drug abuse that took a toll on his body and made it too weak to handle a binge.

Odom's crazy weekend was triggered by a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, TMZ reported.

Odom reportedly received a phone call on Sunday about how he looked bad on the show. Women at the brothel claimed Odom became "irate" after hearing the news and started complaining.

The episode showed Kim Kardashian criticizing Khloe for flirting with Odom when he had hurt her so badly. Khloe also expressed concern Odom might spin out of control, and when she heard her ex was at the same club she was at for a paid appearance, she fled to avoid seeing him.

Despite the report, a source told People that Keeping Up with the Kardashians had nothing to do with what happened Tuesday. Odom's representative also released a statement asking everyone to not listen to "false information."
