A representative at the mayor's office in Florence, Italy revealed on Friday the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and her rapper fiance will be getting married and hosting a reception at the sixteenth-century Belvedere Fort on May 24, ABC News reported.

The representative, Elisa Di Lupo, reportedly told The Associated Press that Kardashian and West rented the property for 300,000 euros and a Protestant minister will officiate the ceremony. The fortress -- which was reopened to the public in 2013 after five years of renovations -- boasts gardens, outlooks over Florence, and buildings which host works of art and contemporary sculptures.

Additional details about the couple's wedding have yet to be officially released. Previous reports claimed Kardashian, 33, and West, 36, were planning to marry later this month in Paris, France.

"I adore Florence. I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle. To tell you the truth, I already came to the banks of the Arno [river] with Kim last year, just the two of us, incognito," West told Florence's La Nazione newspaper on Friday, according to Us Weekly.

"I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces. It was our first honeymoon. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world -- for me, the most beautiful in Europe."

Kardashian and West got engaged in an over-the-top spectacle on the reality TV star's 33rd birthday in October at San Francisco's AT&T Stadium. This will be Kardashian's third marriage and West's first.
