The Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe has shared that she still hasn't healed from the injuries she sustained while competing on Season 29 of Dancing with the Stars.

It's been five years since Kaitlyn won the mirrorball trophy with her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, which she has said on numerous occasions was one of the best times of her life.

But the 40-year-old The Bachelor alum's stint on Dancing with the Stars certainly wasn't all roses.
In fact, if Kaitlyn could give any of the current Season 34 Dancing with the Stars contestants some advice, she told Tori Spelling on her "misSPELLING" podcast it would be, "Don't injure yourself."

Kaitlyn revealed, "I'm still suffering years later from cracked ribs and pulling a muscle that was under my ribs. And my tendonitis will flare up every time I wear heels now."
Despite feeling such pain, Kaitlyn insisted of Dancing with the Stars, "I'll do it again."
Kaitlyn also noted how her experience on the ABC reality dancing competition was "worth" the injuries.
"It's crazy because one of my girlfriends had won it from the season before," Kaitlyn recalled of fellow The Bachelorette alum Hannah Brown, who had won Season 28 with pro partner Alan Bersten.
"And I was like, 'Why did you not prepare me?!' And she was like, 'I don't think people should prepare them because then they won't do it.'"

Kaitlyn probably should've read more into Hannah's pre-Dancing with the Stars gift to her -- a foot bath in which to soak her aching feet.
"But she was like, 'It's so worth it, but it will be scary to know how much work and injury you go through to get to the end.' It's crazy,'" Kaitlyn recalled.

Kaitlyn, who grew up dancing and said she performs well under pressure, explained how her time on Dancing with the Stars was "surreal" and she has absolutely no regrets about it.
Dancing with the Stars just premiered its 34th season on Tuesday, September 16.

Wildlife conservationist Robert Erwin and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt topped the judges' leaderboard in first place.
Prior to participating in Dancing with the Stars, Kaitlyn had competed on Chris Soules' The Bachelor season and then starred on The Bachelorette's eleventh season.
Kaitlyn is currently believed to be dating The Bachelorette 16 alum Zac Clark following her broken engagements to other The Bachelorette alums Shawn Booth and Jason Tartick.
