Survivor: China alum Jaime Dugan has accused her ex-husband, fellow former Survivor: China castaway Erik Huffman, and his mother, Denise Huffman, of abusing their son Harper.

Jaime made the allegations in an Instagram post on Monday, October 5, as she faces a court order over Harper's whereabouts.

"I really didn't want to have to post this for Harper's sake... but Harper was molested by his grandmother, Denise Huffman. He was also physically assaulted on multiple occasions by his father. He is seeing a psychiatrist and... working through the abuse," Jaime wrote.
The serious allegations remain disputed. A court order Survivor-star-wanted-FBI-vanishing-son-husband-says-hes-worried-following-ugly-divorce-showdown.html">obtained by the Daily Mail reportedly found Jaime in direct contempt after she failed to return Harper to his father following a visit and missed subsequent court hearings.

The judge classified Harper as "missing and endangered" and authorized Jaime's arrest. The order also reportedly described her abuse allegations as unfounded; Erik has denied them.
Jaime initially denied that she was on the run, telling the Daily Mail in a text message that the FBI "has not contacted me whatsoever" and that Harper had completed wellness checks with four officers.
But Erik, 45, told the Daily Mail that he feared for his son's "safety and well-being" and was concerned about Jaime's "mental stability." Erik added, "He was really coming into his own and had a very stable life with me. I hate that he's been ripped away."
As reports circulated about Harper's whereabouts, Jaime posted police reports on Instagram and disputed Erik's claims.
Jaime wrote in her Instagram post that abuse is "not abnormal" in Denise's family, and she continued, "Harper did not disclose the abuse to me. He disclosed it to a nurse who was a mandatory reporter. He was subsequently interviewed by police. They confirmed the abuse. There is an active investigation."

Jaime also said she had "not been contacted by the police or the FBI." She acknowledged there had been "a hearing in Spartanburg," but she said she "was not served and did not go."

Jaime further alleged that she stayed in her marriage for so long because she felt "guilty" about leaving Erik, whom she said she had experienced abuse from his parents.
"What his parents put him through was horrific. He told his mother that his Uncle Hank was molesting him. She did Nothing... The saddest part is she continued to bring the uncle around him his entire life," Jaime alleged.
"Erik has zero emotions. Zero empathy. I asked him to get psychiatric help about 4 years ago. He was put on several drugs and it made things worse... Worst of all, they brought Harper around this pedophile."

In another post, Jaime alleged that Erik threatened to kill her during a September 3 phone call from a "burner phone" and had made similar threats in front of Harper.
"I have had to change my cell phone number 3 times in two years because of constant harassment," she claimed.
Jaime also cited a March police report in which she said she told officers Erik had stolen Harper's ADHD medication. She claimed that, when asked under oath whether he had taken Harper's pills, Erik pleaded the Fifth.

Jaime said she received an emergency protective order in April 2025 after a series of alleged incidents. She also posted what appeared to be a report from Harris Automotive Inc. dated August 2024.

In the caption, she accused Erik of putting bleach in her gas tank, saying it caused her car to "explode while driving down the street." She claimed a mechanic's report described signs consistent with bleach in the tank, but said police could not prove Erik was responsible.
Jaime also accused Erik of placing tracking devices on her car. She said he faced domestic violence charges in July 2024, but that police could not prove malicious intent.
Around that same time, Jaime alleged Erik's "paramour," Jennifer Bowyer, called and threatened to "put my body in a bag" in front of Harper.
"This is the crazy I've been dealing with for two years," Jaime wrote. "This is why I've changed my cell number 3 times. This is why I lost 38 pounds in 6 months. This is why I didn't sleep for 6 months."
Jaime also insisted she did not prevent Erik from speaking with Harper."

Jaime and Erik met while competing on Survivor's 15th season titled Survivor: China, which aired in 2007.
They began dating after the season and got engaged in 2008.
Jaime and Erik got married in Charleston, SC, in April 2009 and welcomed their son the following year. The couple divorced in 2024.
