After its first three Wednesday broadcasts, So You Think You Can Dance's sixth season will begin its twice-a-week broadcast schedule when the show's Tuesday night broadcasts begin on September 29 9PM ET/PT.
So You Think You Can Dance's Tuesday episodes will subsequently expand to two-hour 8-10PM ET/PT broadcasts beginning October 27.

Fox confirmed in May that So You Think You Can Dance's sixth season would air in the fall as part of the network's 2009-2010 primetime programming schedule -- representing the first time it has aired outside Fox's summer schedule.

So You Think You Can Dance is currently in the midst of its fifth season, with two-hour performance episodes airing Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT and one-hour results shows airing Thursdays at 9PM ET/PT.
