Frenchie Davis apparently won't be the only face reality TV viewers may recognize when The Voice premieres Tuesday, April 26 at 9PM ET/PT on NBC.

Lukas Rossi, who won Rock Star: Supernova in 2006, will reportedly be joining Davis, a former American Idol semifinalist, in competing on NBC's new Idol-like singing competition.

The Voice is being produced by Mark Burnett, who also previously produced Rock Star: Supernova for CBS.

Burnett had confirmed The Voice was open to prior participants of other reality singing competitions -- even winners -- in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"It's a meritocracy," he said. "It doesn't matter where you came from. If you won American Idol and you wanted to try this, too, you could."

Rossi was crowned Rock Star: Supernova's champion in September 2006 and became the lead singer for the resulting rock band, which ended up calling itself Rock Star Supernova and also featured Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Metallica's Jason Newsted, and Guns N' Roses' Gilby Clarke.

Soon after the rock band successfully completed a world tour, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the group broke up and Rossi left in search of new projects and possibilities.

"I have one thing to say to you all: thank you for your support and your belief. I will never stop pursuing my dreams," the rocker wrote on his Twitter account this past weekend.

Davis was disqualified from Idol's second season in 2003 over nude pictures in which she simulated solitary sexual activity for a kiddie-porn website. Despite a petition to reinstate Davis into the competition, Fox stood by its decision to disqualify Davis, who posed for the photos when she was 18.
