DeShawn Snow's The Real Housewives of Atlanta ouster hasn't dampened her desire to work in reality television.

The former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is currently pitching a new reality series titled Second Chance, OK! Weekly reported Thursday.

"It's kind of like Top Model meets Charm School," she told OK!.

"We really want to give them a chance and the people we are looking for are people who have been given up on or they have given up on themselves, they had children at a young age or they were on drugs, whatever, because you can really turn your life around."

Snow was a regular The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member when the show premiered last fall, however she revealed in January that producers for the Bravo reality series informed her she wouldn't be back for its second installment because she wasn't a good fit for the show anymore.

"[The producer] said that I was 'too human for a circus show' and that because the show did so well, they are about to pump up the drama and they didn't think that I would fit in," Snow said at the time.

She was subsequently replaced by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss for The Real Housewives of Atlanta's second season, which premiered in July.

"Not everybody has as big a personality as NeNe (Leakes)," Snow told OK!. "I thought I provided the balance. Not everybody's up here and not everybody's down here. I thought it was a good mix but I understand you need drama."

Still, Snow said she has no hard feelings towards her former The Real Housewives co-stars.

"[My kids and I] were at Barnes and Noble for summer reading stuff and I saw [Leakes] book," she told OK!.

"I was excited for her because I want to support her and they say 'Mom, why are you buying her book?' Because they remember her face. I said, 'Well why not? I want to support her. One day Mommy's books will be here too.'"

Snow said she plans to take what she learned from her The Real Housewives experience and apply it to her new project.

"I learned about the reality TV world with how the film crew follows you," she told OK!. "And I learned about the power of editing. That's why I want to have creative control, because everything is entertainment."

In addition to her new reality series, Snow is currently taking graduate classes at Regent College, working on a book and developing a children's animated series tentatively-titled Little Shawnie, according to OK!.
