Dancing with the Stars contestant Sean Spicer will reportedly continue to dance with Jenna Johnson instead of Lindsay Arnold as his professional partner on Season 28.

The former White House press secretary and Jenna will take the stage together again on Dancing with the Stars's November 11 performance show on ABC, People reported.

For Dancing with the Stars' performance show last week, Jenna replaced Sean's original pro partner, Lindsay, because Lindsay's mother-in-law had passed away.

Sean and Jenna -- who was previously eliminated from the Dancing with the Stars competition with her celebrity partner Karamo Brown -- danced a jazz routine together and received 20 out of 30 points from Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Len Goodman.

"It's Saturday morning. Just found out that Lindsay's mother-in-law has passed away and unfortunately she won't be able to perform," Sean said in a video package that featured his rehearsals and aired during last week's show.

"She went home to spend time with her family. I'm lucky that her good friend Jenna is going to step in."

Lindsay also took to Instagram at the time to explain her personal situation and absence to fans.

"I am so saddened to say that my beautiful, loving, selfless mother in law has unexpectedly passed away. Family is the most important thing to me and being with my husband and our family at this time is exactly where I need to be," wrote Lindsay, who married Samuel Cusick in June 2015.

"I want to thank everyone from my @dancingabc family for being so supportive and making it possible for me to be at home with my loved ones during this time."

She added, "I will not be performing tonight on the show and although I wish I could be there I know that home is where I need to be. Thank you all for your love and support. Families are forever and I know that without a doubt."

Despite the fact Sean has been receiving low judges' scores week to week and falling to the bottom of the leaderboard, fans have repeatedly voted him through.

"I knew what my scores were and I knew how the rest of the cast did. To be called out first [as safe] was just a massive relief. For me, this week was about... showing Lindsay that all of her hard work had paid off," Sean told People following actress Kate Flannery's elimination from Dancing with the Stars.

"I know how hard everyone else is working too. You feel bad because you've seen their progression. It's tough. It's this mixed emotion we've had for the past few weeks, where we're watching someone you're close to and watch them go when your scores weren't as high."

Carrie Ann, however, recently admitted she's frustrated a cast member like Sean continues to survive on the show considering better, more skilled dancers are being sent home in his place.

The theme of the upcoming Dancing with the Stars broadcast on Monday night will be "Boy Band & Girl Group Night."

The six remaining celebrity and professional pairings will dance to the music from boy bands in the first round of competition followed by girl bands in the second round.
