The former Olympic gymnast with five medals and Sasha were sent packing based on the combination of home viewer votes from the last two weeks of competition as well as the scores provided by Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli from last week and Monday night.

"It really has been [a milestone for me]. This has been the time of my life. I hadn't challenged myself in decades, and I challenged myself and I'm off to a fresh new start. Thank you everyone!" Mary Lou said following her Dancing with the Stars ouster.

The other couple in jeopardy of elimination prior to Mary Lou and Sasha's exit was model and Cover Girl Alexis Ren and partner Alan Bersten; however, they were not necessarily the other bottom-two couple based on judges' scores and America votes.
