Dallas football great Emmitt Smith says he is going for another ring when he competes for the championship on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

The former Cowboys running back tells TVGuide.com he is thinking about having the first-place trophy melted down and cast into commemorative rings for himself and his coach and partner, Cheryl Burke.
"I already have three championships from my days as a Dallas Cowboy, and on Wednesday, let's hope Cheryl and I get another," Smith told the Web site.
He added that the real champ is his wife, Pat, who puts up with eight hours per day of practice on top of his duties at his Dallas real estate office.
