Cody and Witney were the fourth couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars after receiving the lowest total of judges' scores and home viewer votes cast following the two prior Monday night performance shows. The judges' scores and America's vote from last night's episode, which was dubbed "Disney Night," will count towards next week's elimination.

"This has been a very new experience; It's an amazing experience. Obviously it's tough [to go], but it is what it is... Dancing with the Stars has affected my life in such an overwhelmingly-positive way. It's definitely an experience I'll remember for a very long time if not the rest of my life," Cody said following his ouster.

"I'm sad. I feel like people didn't really get a chance to see Cody yet, you know, he's incredible. And this journey, my first season as a professional, having Cody was an incredible experience. It was so great and I'm grateful for him as well," Witney added. "I'm just so proud of the journey we've had together and I hope that we can stay friends past the show."

Cody and Witney danced before the round of results were revealed, so they earned 34 out of 40 possible points for their The Lion King-inspired samba routine from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as well as guest judge Donny Osmond. Cody and Witney landed in eighth place on Monday night's leaderboard when nine couples competed.

Last week, Cody had acquired a combined two-week leaderboard total of 66 out of 80 possible points. He had finished in sixth place on the leaderboard both weeks. During the April 7 broadcast, Cody and his temporary partner Sharna Burgess -- which was a result of the brief "Switch-Up" challenge -- received 31 out of 40 possible judges' points for a foxtrot routine. During the April 1 episode, Cody and Witney danced a jazz routine worthy of 35 points.

Actress and former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure and partner Mark Ballas were also in jeopardy of elimination last night, however, they were not necessarily one of the bottom-two couples.

Candace and Mark finished in seventh place on Monday night's leaderboard with 35 points after they danced a samba routine to an Ariel classic. Last week, Candace had walked away with a combined two-week total of 60 points, which had placed her at the bottom of the leaderboard in last place.

Nickelodeon star and Big Time Rush singer James Maslow and partner Peta Murgatroyd topped Monday night's leaderboard in first place with a perfect score of 40 points -- the first perfect score of the season, which featured four 10's from the judges. They danced a Frozen-style contemporary routine. Last week, James had racked in a combined total of 71 points, finishing in second place on the two-week leaderboard.

Second place went to actress and former The Wonder Years star Danica McKellar and partner Val Chmerkovskiy. The couple received 39 points for a Beauty and the Beast-themed quickstep. Last week, Danica had landed in fifth place on the leaderboard after earning a two-week total of 68 points.

Two couples tied for third place during Monday night's show with 37 points. Sharna and her partner Charlie White, a Sochi Olympics ice dancing gold medalist, danced a Mary Poppins-inspired jazz routine. Double-amputee snowboarding champion Amy Purdy and partner Derek Hough performed a waltz based on Cinderella.

Last week, Amy had claimed third place on the combined two-week leaderboard with 70 total points. Charlie had been right behind her in fourth place after he had received 69 total points over the course of two previous performance shows.

Fifth place on Monday night's leaderboard also represented a tie between the following two couples: The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and partner Tony Dovolani as well as Sochi Olympics ice dancing gold medalist Meryl Davis and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

NeNe and Tony danced a 101 Dalmations foxtrot worthy of 36 points. Meryl and Maksim performed a samba inspired by The Jungle Book which also received 36 points.

Last week, Meryl had topped the combined leaderboard in first place with 78 total points. NeNe had landed in a seventh-place tie on the two-week judges' leaderboard with 63 total points. She tied with comedian and game show host Drew Carey.
