CMT has ordered eleven more episodes of Dog and Beth: On the Hunt and announced the new episodes will begin airing in August.

The eleven additional first-season episodes will continue to star bounty hunters Duane "Dog" Chapman, his wife Beth Chapman and his son Leland Chapman as they travel around the country to hunt down dangerous fugitives.
Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, which premiered on April 21, is currently debuting new episodes every Sunday night at 8PM ET/PT on the network. CMT has now picked up a total of 22 episodes for the series' initial season.
"We knew Dog and Beth would shake up the programming landscape at CMT and they've done just that, more than doubling our quarter-to-date prime average," CMT executive Jayson Dinsmore said about the couple, who previously starred in A&E's long-running Dog the Bounty Hunter reality series.
"In addition to ratings success, the show has seen the largest level of social media engagement of any previous CMT series, with an incredibly dedicated, impassioned fan base. Dog, Beth, Leland and Electus [the show's production company] are fantastic to work with, and we look forward to getting them back on the road to continue the hunt."

Dog the Bounty Hunter was canceled by A&E after eight seasons in May of last year. However, Chapman inked a new deal with CMT in September 2012 to star in a new reality series -- which was tentatively-titled Dog at the time.
