Chris Harrison believes Emily Maynard should choose a guy just like ex-fiance and former The Bachelor star Brad Womack during her upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

"You know, this is going to sound weird, Brad Womack -- just a sweet gentleman who treats her like a lady and can be a great dad, and is ready for that," the host said during a recent interview with TV Guide when asked what type of guy would be right for Maynard.

Harrison also speculated some of Maynard's future The Bachelorette bachelors may choose to walk away from the 25-year-old single mom because they won't be ready to take on the responsibilities of being a step-dad to her six-year-old daughter Josephine Riddick "Ricki" Hendrick.

"I'm speaking as a dad here, not even for Emily. He needs to be ready -- not say he's ready. He's gotta be ready, ready. And to be the step-dad, that's different even. So, it's a big step and it's going to be interesting to see these guys evolve and really -- I bet that some of them are going to be like, 'You know what? I'm not ready. I'm out.' That's going to be part of this season," Harrison explained.

In addition, Harrison also said that, despite reports, The Bachelorette has not made a final decision as to whether the show will film in Maynard's hometown of Charlotte, NC.

"That's something -- I know people have talked about that, but our locations really haven't been set. But I know for a fact, we're definitely talking with her already of, 'How can we accommodate you?' If it means going to Charlotte, great, whatever! You know? But it will definitely change for her, which is kind of cool for me. It's going to be a different show," he added.

ABC officially announced that Maynard -- the former fifteenth-season The Bachelor bachelorette who got engaged to Womack during the March 2011 broadcast of the show's season finale but split with him several months later -- will serve as the star of the eighth season of The Bachelorette, which will begin filming in March, late last month.

Maynard, who lost her fiance and former NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick in an October 2004 plane crash before appearing on Womack's season of The Bachelor, will choose amongst 25 suitors and be "looking for someone who makes her laugh, doesn't take himself too seriously and can be her best friend," according to the network.
