Shortly after Bruce's mother Esther Jenner confirmed her son wants to transform into a female, news has surfaced Bruce told his children about being transgender and is "finally happy" about his lifestyle.

"Bruce told them everything -- where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect," a family insider told People. "Everyone basically knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly."

Bruce reportedly shared his story with his six children and his ex-wife Kris Jenner's kids Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. They all apparently handled the situation differently but ultimately showed support.

"They all came all around pretty quickly, but each of them had to process it in their own way," the insider said. "All they want is for him to be happy."

Kim allegedly reacted to the 65-year-old former Olympian's transition by checking on her mother.

"Kim went to Kris and asked her how she felt. They had a very long conversation about it," the insider told People. "Once Kim was satisfied that Kris was emotionally okay, she was able to give Bruce her unconditional support."

While all the women in Bruce's family appeared to take the news very well, one man struggled to accept Bruce's new life.

The insider said Kourtney's longtime boyfriend Scott Disick "didn't react very well" at first but "is now on board."

On the contrary, Kim's husband Kanye West seemed to embrace Bruce's transformation without hesitation.

"He is totally fine with it," the insider noted of West. "He believes in 'live and let live,' and he took it all in stride. He and Kim are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance -- complete acceptance."
