"Top Chef" has been so sweet for Bravo, the cable network Tuesday extended the cooking competition's current run and renewed it for a second season.

Bravo said it is adding a two-episode finale May 17 and May 24 as well as a reunion special this season, TVWeek.com reported.

During the finale, viewers will be able to watch the voting results come in live via cellphones, the Internet and cable TV remotes, Bravo said.

The search for next season's "Top Chef" competitors kick off next week in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
