Big Brother featured Jackson Michie winning the Power of Veto and deciding to keep nominations the same, leaving Nick Maccarone and Christie Murphy on the chopping block heading into the next live eviction during Wednesday night's Season 21 broadcast on CBS.

Although Nick was named "America's Prankster" this week, Michie winning the Power of Veto prevented Nick from being able to name a replacement nominee of his choice.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 66 with Nick and Christie on the chopping block.

Holly said she or one of her allies had to win the next Power of Veto in order to have control over the nominees rather than allowing "America's Prankster" to name the replacement nominee.

Holly and Michie wanted to keep nominations the same because they viewed Nick as a huge threat but also thought Christie going home as a backup option would be beneficial for their game.

Christie had a feeling Nick was the Prankster and had put her on the block although he was wishing her luck in the upcoming Power of Veto competition. She said she could see right through his lies.

It then became time to pick players for the Power of Veto competition.

Nick really wanted Tommy Bracco or Nicole Anthony to play in the competition because he felt like they'd take him off the block, but he didn't want Jessica Milagros or Michie to be picked because they probably wouldn't save him.

In addition to the Head of Household, Holly, and the two nominees, Nick and Christie, the other houseguests selected to play were Michie, Cliff Hogg and Jessica.

Michie was Holly's "Houseguest's Choice," while Cliff and Jessica were picked totally at random.

Christie, Michie and Holly then talked about how they couldn't let Nick win the Power of Veto. Christie said she was surprised more people didn't see past Nick's flattery and his facade.

Christie acted like she was a pawn on the chopping block this week in order to honor her deal with Michie and Holly, but the couple didn't view her as a pawn since Holly wasn't the one who had nominated her for eviction.

Holly and Michie still planned to use Christie as a pawn down the road in exchange for having saved her from a previous eviction.

Suddenly, Zingbot arrived and roasted the houseguests. He called Tommy an "attention whore," Holly "an old buzzard," and made fun of the way Christie chews with her mouth open.

Zingbot gave Nick a bowl to put on his head and said he needed a new haircut, and then Nicole was told she has no friends or boyfriend, just like her regular life back home.

Zingbot told Cliff he's "busty" and "voluptuous" and then insisted Jessica was a "snoozefest." Zingbot also dubbed Michie "a pompous douchebag," which Christie jokingly agreed he is 90 percent of the time.

For the Power of Veto competition, the participating houseguests were required to maneuver a ball up and around a giant board and plop it into a series of targets by pulling on two ropes and pushing it up with a bar. The players, however, had to avoid holes along the way.

The first person to land the ball in 27 slots would win the Power of Veto.

It was a close call between Michie and Nick, but in the end, Michie won the veto. He was glad to be back in control of the game, and Christie assumed Michie was going to keep nominations the same.

Christie was okay with that, however, because she didn't mind being on the chopping block next to Nick, whom she figured was the real target for everyone.

Nick was upset and told Michie that he didn't have to win and the best way to show loyalty is when no one is looking.

"I'm finally starting to connect some dots here. I'm putting 2 and 2 together and am finally realizing Nick is 'America's Prankster.' Nice to meet you," Michie said.

Michie therefore asked Nick whom he planned to name as the replacement nominee, and Nick said whomever he could beat.

Nick decided to tell Michie he's the Prankster in order to prove he had Michie's back the whole time and was truly loyal to him by never putting him on the block.

Nick thought it was a longshot Michie would use the veto on him, but he was hoping to turn the tables and plant seed in Michie's mind about Christie and her loyalty.

Knowing Holly wanted Nick gone and Nick would potentially pick the replacement nominee, Michie decided he wasn't going to use the veto.

Michie told Christie that he couldn't risk Nick going after them in the future and so she was safe, which Christie really appreciated.

Nick also told Tommy that he was the Prankster so Tommy would trust him and work with him. Nick needed him as an ally going forward, and since he believed he already had Nicole in his back pocket, he just needed Cliff on his side as well.

At the subsequent Veto Meeting, Michie announced he had decided to keep nominations the same.

Christie planned to fight for another week in the house, but Nick had already started campaigning and insisted the house would be "stupid" to keep Christie over him.

Tommy hated the idea of evicting either Nick or Christie, and he didn't know what was going to happen. Tommy said either person going home would hit him hard from a game perspective as well as personally.
