After weeks of getting viewers accustomed to Big Brother 5's predictable thrice-weekly format, CBS threw viewers a curve by preempting last Saturday's episode and squeezing both this week's nominations and Power Of Veto challenge and ceremony into yesterday's Tuesday broadcast.

Now, with the show's season finale quickly approaching and one too many Big Brother houseguests remaining in the house as a result of twin Natalie Carroll's successful midseries entry into the house, CBS is taking things a step further and planning to squeeze a full week's worth of activities -- including another eviction -- into this Saturday's broadcast.

Billed as the latest twist in this season's "Project: Do Not Assume," Thursday's live Big Brother 5 episode will see the departure of either Michael Ellis (aka "Cowboy") or Adria Klein, the nominees of current Head of Household Marvin Latimer, however unbeknownst to the houseguests, host Julie Chen will also inform the group (live) that a second houseguest will be getting booted within the next 48 hours.

In the jammed-packed episode airing on Saturday, September 4 episode at 9PM ET/PT, the new Head of Household will choose two nominees, the Power of Veto competition and ceremony will be held, and the six remaining houseguests will vote who they want to see leave the house and join Will, Natalie and Thursday’s evictee on the jury. Then, after the eviction, the five remaining houseguests will compete in yet another Head Of Household competition.

Big Brother 5 is broadcast three nights a week on Tuesdays, (9-10PM ET/PT), Thursdays (8-9PM ET/PT), and Saturdays (9-10PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Its season finale is set to air on Tuesday, September 21.
