Michelle, a 28-year-old fifth-grade teacher and former Division I basketball player from Edina, MN, began filming her The Bachelorette season in late July, and the show just premiered on October 19 on ABC.

Michelle started out her journey to find love at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.

Michelle gave her First Impression Rose to Nayte Olukoya, a 27-year-old sales executive from Austin, TX, and eliminated a total of seven bachelors on Night 1.

Episode 2 featured Michelle forming a deep connection with Jamie Skaar, a 32-year-old biotech CEO from San Diego, CA, on her first one-on-one date of the season when Jamie opened up about his difficult childhood and how his mother had committed suicide.

Michelle called Jamie a "beautiful" man and opened up about how she felt "so impressed" by him.

Michelle thought she and Jamie were "very compatible" and had "a lot of chemistry." She envisioned a life with him being adventurous, vulnerable, romantic and compassionate, and so she gave him a rose.

But during the second group date of The Bachelorette, several guys appeared jealous over Michelle's "off-the-chart" chemistry with Joe Coleman, a 28-year-old real estate developer from Minneapolis, MN.

A couple of guys questioned whether Michelle and Joe knew each other before the show because of their obvious connection, and Jamie admitted the situation bothered him. He found Michelle and Joe's dynamic "odd and suspicious."

Jamie proceeded to lie to the Bachelorette by telling her that other men were concerned about Michelle's relationship with Joe but he was totally fine with her past and didn't care.

"I think given this entire journey is about authenticity and about trust, and that that's the standard that has been set, I think there are people out there that have been questioning that," Jamie told Michelle.

He added, "I think it's gotten to the point where it's taken on a life of its own, and I think it's important because it also could potentially extend outside of just this bubble here."

Jamie claimed one of his friends once spotted Michelle out at a bar with "a tall, light-skinned baller" and so people assumed she was "boo'd up."

Michelle broke down into tears over the idea of her bachelors questioning her honesty and integrity, and she didn't know which men would have her back and who didn't believe in her.

When The Bachelorette airs its next episode on Tuesday, November 2 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, Michelle will continue to get to know her 19 remaining bachelors.

On the first group date of Week 2, stars of the new movie sequel Top Gun: Maverick, Glen Powell and Jay Ellis, will push the suitors out of their comfort zone "and into the danger zone," according to ABC, "but the G-forces won't be the only thing making their heads spin."

One man will make the most out of his one-on-one time with Michelle and bare it all for her.

And spoken-word poet Rudy Francisco will lead the second group date.

While the men prove to be vulnerable in their poetry, Michelle will steal the spotlight when she reads an emotional spoken-word poem of her own.

Before Michelle hands out roses at the third Rose Ceremony of Season 18, a level-headed guy shares with Michelle how the men in the house have always had her back, which will result in "a series of confrontations and a shocking conclusion," seemingly involving Jamie.

Michelle will definitely experience highs and lows on her The Bachelorette journey, but she recently told Variety that she is "happy" and glad to have gone through the process.

Michelle said she "surprised" herself that she was "able to get my feelings where I needed them to be" by the end of the dating process.

"But with where I'm at right now in my life in general, I love where I'm at," the Minnesota native teased, adding, "I love that I was able to stay true to myself and I love what the future looks like."

When asked to describe Michelle's season, Tayshia Adams -- who is hosting Season 18 of The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe -- told Extra TV that Michelle went through a roller coaster of emotions.

"I think she really pushes these men to be authentic and really vulnerable, and I think it's a really beautiful love story to watch," Tayshia noted.

The girls revealed how Michelle's season was like "a fairy tale," suggesting she may have found true love.

So who is Michelle's winner, and did she get engaged to the man she ended up with? And which bachelor was denied Michelle's final rose?

According to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, Michelle's runner-up bachelor was Brandon Jones, a 26-year-old traveling nurse recruiter from Portland, OR.

It's therefore probably safe to assume Brandon departed The Bachelorette brokenhearted.

"Her #2 is Brandon Jones," Carbone tweeted at the beginning of October.

Carbone said he previously received pictures of Michelle and her runner-up enjoying a date on September 7, just two days before The Bachelorette's Final Rose Ceremony filmed in Mexico on September 9.

Carbone wrote in his blog on October 6, "Until yesterday, I only had pics of who it was, but couldn't identify who it was."

"Thanks to ABC's preview of Michelle's season [that aired during Bachelor in Paradise's Season 7 finale], I've now been able to lock down who that final 2 guy was -- Brandon Jones," he claimed.

Carbone apparently matched the bachelor's outfit in the preview with what the man had been wearing in the photos someone had sent him.

Michelle and Brandon enjoyed a horseback riding date on Michelle's season as well as a fun day on the water riding jetskis.

Carbone also revealed the alleged winner of Michelle's The Bachelorette season on October 5.

"The main thing you want to know is what happened at the end, right?" Carbone wrote in his blog at the time.

"Well, I got that for you. Had heard rumblings since the season ended but got the confirmation I needed the end of last week."

The man Michelle reportedly chose in the end was Nayte.

And Carbone reported that Nayte decided to pop the question during the show's finale and now he and Michelle are engaged!

Eyewitnesses had spotted Michelle and her winner on a date back in August.

"They took a pontoon boat out on Lake Minnetonka then arrived at Lord Fletchers where Michelle & Nayte played volleyball with her two friends," Carbone tweeted at the time.

According to his ABC bio, Nayte is a 6'8" and originally from Winnipeg, Canada. He attended college at Eastern Washington University.

Before appearing on The Bachelorette, Nayte was working for Indeed.com, but it's unclear if he still holds his position there after filming.

Nayte told ABC that his dream woman is outgoing, spontaneous and has enough swagger to keep up with him. He has been looking for a hot connection with a passionate woman as well as a teammate for life.

It sounds like Nayte and Michelle could be a great match considering ABC recently shared, "Michelle has big dreams for the future and says she wants a man by her side that is supportive and driven to make the world a better place."

"She is looking for the Superman to her Superwoman and is ready to find a love with whom she can start a family of her own."

Carbone hasn't released any additional spoilers on The Bachelorette's new season yet, but he did disclose a handful of men whom he is convinced progressed to Michelle's Final 12 suitors.

The five men who survived multiple Rose Ceremonies and made it at least as far as the season's Final 12 bachelors are reportedly Nayte; Brandon; Joe Coleman, a 28-year-old real estate developer from Minneapolis, MN; Clayton, a 28-year-old medical sales representative from Columbia, MO; and Peter Izzo, a 26-year-old "pizzapreneur" from Port St. Joe, FL.

Michelle finished The Bachelor's 25th season starring Matt James, which filmed last year and wrapped on TV in March, in second place and left the show devastated.

Michelle was announced on After the Final Rose in March as one of two The Bachelorette stars -- along with Katie Thurston -- for back-to-back seasons in 2021.
