Bachelor in Paradise couple Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone just celebrated their love with an extravagant, lavish, wedding-like engagement party alongside family and friends.

Krystal and Chris celebrated their engagement by throwing a swanky, fancy affair on Thursday in which Krystal wore a lace and feathered wedding gown designed by Hayley Paige for the event and Chris sported a nice suit with a light pink shirt.

The pre-nuptials bash was documented on social media, as Krystal and Chris both shared numerous, beautiful professional photos from the night.

According to Chris, the event was so over the top, in fact, guests wondered whether they had been invited to "a surprise wedding," E! News reported.

"That's what everyone couldn't stop talking about because it felt like a wedding," Chris, 31, said.

Chris and Krystal got engaged on Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise after having a whirlwind romance in Mexico.

Friends from Bachelor Nation who attended Chris and Krystal's engagement party included Ashley Iaconetti, Jared Haibon, Jade Roper, Tanner Tolbert, Josh Murray, Chelsea Roy, Annaliese Puccini, Katie Morton, Heather Martin and Angela Amezcua.

Chris told E! News the couple "really wanted to give everyone a beautiful night to enjoy our engagement because we really haven't been able to do that yet."

"Everyone was having a great time together," Krystal, 31, added.

The rustic party with a touch of modern edge that appeared to take place at a barn surrounded by lush gardens "came out beautifully," gushed Krystal.

"The venue really blew our minds away with how they put it together. It was very enchanting. Being there [and] having our loved ones travel so far to celebrate our engagement really meant the world to us," she added.

Krystal and Chris said they presented "healthy" and guilt-free food options for guests such as vegan and gluten-free meals and set up games such as corn hole, human-size Jenga and more.

Krystal said the day began with a huge party bus for the ladies and the night went according to plan -- wedding style.

"We had a huge party bus take us and a group of our friends up to these beautiful bath houses that we got ready in," the fitness coach told E! News.

"We had a champagne hour while we welcomed everyone and then escorted everyone into the marquee where the DJ was and food."

Krystal explained planning the engagement party was the couple's "first test on compromise," but everything turned out great.

"Even doing the guest list was challenging for us... to sit down and be so limited," Krystal shared. "Ultimately, we just wanted to create a beautiful experience. We wanted to give an enchanting night to all of our loved ones and have a good night."

After the fifth-season finale of Bachelor in Paradise aired in 2018, Chris told Us Weekly he pictured marrying Krystal in 2019 or 2020.

"We've had conversations about marriage here in the foreseeable future," Chris said at the time.

"We don't know [a date], but what we do know is that it's definitely something that we want and it's definitely something that I couldn't see myself with any other person."

In September 2018, Krystal shared a photo of herself shopping for a wedding down and captioned one photo, "Save the date."

One month later, Krystal and Chris announced they had purchased a home and were moving in together.

The pair's YouTube series called Glitter and the Goose then launched in January.

Prior to getting involved on Bachelor in Paradise, Krystal was a villain on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor and Chris made waves on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette.

Chris and Krystal not only left Paradise with each other, but they also managed to alter their reputations for the better and rehab their images. They also bonded over their similar unflattering edits on reality television.
