[90 Day Fiance Spoilers Warning: Please stop reading now if you don't want to find out what the current status of Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores' relationship is and whether they are still together.]

Part 1 of 90 Day Fiance's sixth-season reunion special will air Sunday night on TLC, but since it filmed in November, what viewers see on TV may not accurately depict what's going on with each Season 6 couple right now.

So what's the current status of Fernanda and Jonathan's relationship? Are they still married and still together?

Unfortunately, fans of this couple will be disappointed to find out Jonathan, a 32-year-old from Lumberton, NC, revealed on New Year's Eve that he and Fernanda, a 19-year-old from Mexico, have separated and ended their relationship.

Jonathan claims to be the one who ultimately decided to pull the plug and break-up.

On the night of December 31, Jonathan took to Instagram with a photo showing he was celebrating New Year's Eve with his mother Ceci instead of Fernanda.

"Bring in the New Year with this special lady!" he captioned the image in which he was sitting next to his mom and smiling.

Comments then poured in from concerned fans who were wondering why Jonathan's wife was missing from the action.

Jonathan went on to post over 40 comments about his relationship with Fernanda, including a claim that the Fernanda had left him on an airplane headed to Chicago at one point. (Meanwhile, Fernanda's Instagram Stories appeared to show her celebrating New Year's Eve at a house party somewhere else.)

"She left and then quickly had a change of heart. I decided I didn't want someone who was so quick to give up on everything I worked so hard to provide. Plain and simple... I never gave up. I gave 1000 percent always, until it wasn't enough," Jonathan wrote of Fernanda in a since-deleted Instagram comment.

Jonathan later added, "You can only give so much until you start giving up the things you love and it still means nothing... I couldn't take giving everything and still being stripped of the things I loved... Eventually she hated where we lived."

As for where Fernanda was at the time, Jonathan claimed, "She's in Houston. She wanted to pursue a modeling career in Chicago. Decided to leave and realized she couldn't do it on her own. She said MANY things you can't take back that I won't mention, you'll have to trust me when I tell you."

Jonathan also said that when Fernanda realized her lifestyle was going to be different, she wanted to apologize and ask for forgiveness. However, Jonathan said he would not accept her apology.

On New Year's Eve, Fernanda posted a wedding photo of the couple and seemed to mock Jonathan's marriage vows.

She captioned the image, "'I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honour you all the days of my life' - He said."

The next day, Fernanda conducted a live Instagram chat with her followers in response to Jonathan's Instagram comments about the status of their relationship.

"I don't want to talk anything about Jonathan again. Please don't ask questions about him," Fernanda said in the video.

"He's talking a lot; he can say whatever he wants. I'm not going to talk about it until I'm ready. And today and right now is not the moment. So, let's enjoy the rest of this day."

Fernanda also shared a video of herself shooting a gun on Instagram.

"Beautiful irony is when the very thing tried to destroy you, inside made you stronger," Fernanda captioned the video.

Jonathan and Fernanda, however, have yet to announce whether they have plans to file for divorce.

Rumors swirled in late December that Jonathan and Fernanda's relationship was falling apart and they may have split because Fernanda was "airing our issues," as Jonathan had put it.

On December 22, Fernanda posted a heated message on Instagram that seemingly pointed fingers at her husband.

"He stripped away my self-worth, layer by layer until there was nothing left of my personality. Yet I never forgot about the girl who I used to be. She lived inside, my caged soul, waiting for the day I would set her free. Casting her light into my dark mind, hoping that I would see, flashes of a better life, glimpses of possibility. I was never alone because she believed in me," Fernanda wrote, although she deleted the post shortly afterwards.

Just a couple of weeks earlier, Jonathan and Fernanda's romance seemed to be going great, as she had posted beautiful photos from a winter and Christmas-themed photo shoot with her husband.

Jonathan and Fernanda's relationship began when they met at a club during his vacation to Mexico with his best friend. The real estate broker fell hard and fast for Fernanda, saying the world stopped when he first saw her.

Despite their age difference, Jonathan proposed marriage to Fernanda.

Fernanda's K-1 visa was subsequently approved, and 90 Day Fiance's sixth season featured Fernanda getting settled into Jonathan's home in America.

Since her mid-February arrival, she and Jonathan overcame many obstacles on their way to getting married, including winning the support of Jonathan's family.
