MICHAEL and ANGELA

Michael was afraid to introduce Angela to his mother given she's 22 years older and became the first white person to enter his neighborhood. Angela was very nervous about whether she’d be accepted.

"My ex-girlfriends are not grandmas," Michael told the cameras of his fears going into the important meet and greet.

When sitting down with Michael's mother, Duke -- who said she wants Angela to be "obedient" to her son regardless of the fact she's wealthier -- admitted she was afraid of gun violence in the U.S., but Angela assured her that she doesn't like guns and would keep Michael safe.

Duke made Angela snails for the occasion, which disgusted her. Besides seemingly offending Duke a little bit by spitting out the food in Michael's mouth, Duke liked Angela a lot.

Angela then met a couple of Michael's friends. Angela just wanted her picture on Michael's phone and hoped he was being honest when he told her the excuse that he could get arrested for having such a photo under the belief he's trying to scam an American white woman.

Later on, Angela just wanted to relax after a stressful day, but he took her to a market instead so she could dress herself in African attire, which really wasn't Angela's style. Michael, however, wanted his girlfriend to embrace his culture.

The couple then got into a disagreement over Angela's smoking habit. He didn't like it at all, but she promised she was trying to quit. Angela felt Michael was being a bit controlling, as she didn't believe she was doing anything wrong.

Tension heightened when Michael called Angela "fat" in the store. She became very upset and said it was "embarrassing and insulting."

"I feel it's going to be difficult to deal with her," Michael told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Angela wondered if Michael was ashamed of her, as she was already self-conscious about her weight.

JESSE and DARCEY

Darcey was happy Jesse got along with her two daughters, and she envisioned a marriage proposal coming soon.

Jesse wanted Darcey to stay off social media because of her mistake in the past, but she didn't like that and felt "bullied" by her boyfriend. Jesse then told the cameras Darcey was "sensitive and insecure."

But Darcey said Jesse simply didn't like it when she tried to defend herself and be a strong, independent woman. The couple got into a fight at dinner that resulted in Jesse walking away and both individuals venting, "I'm done."

Darcey felt it was wrong he was trying to shut her life down.

"My time in America, it should be just about building a future in the U.S. with Darcey and her daughters, but the only way I want to do that is if there is a foundation of harmony, and her behavior right now is crazy," Jesse said in a confessional.

Darcey wanted Jesse to want a life with her for the right reasons, but the fight subsided when Jesse assured his girlfriend that he loved her for her.

As Darcey cried in bed, Jesse told her, "I love you wholeheartedly and I mean that."

But Jesse told the cameras Darcey needed to "fix herself" in order to have "a long lasting and workable" relationship.

The next day, Darcey showed Jesse her hometown, because that’s where they’d live together. Jesse found it beautiful and could definitely imagine himself there. On the ride there, however, the pair bickered again, and she felt belittled. This was a running theme for these two, and they both knew it and were sick of it.

The couple then got settled into an Air B&B together instead of the condo Darcey shares with her twin sister, whom Darcey said can be judgmental. Jesse added the sisters can be jealous of one another.

That night, Jesse and Darcey met her sister Stacey for dinner. Stacey said she wanted them to be happy but she could sense some tension, and it escalated when the pair conducted interviews with producers later on.

RICKY and MELISSA

Ricky was deeply in love with Melissa and wanted her to be his wife. He was ready to explore Colombia with her after meeting her for the first time in a restaurant. Ricky thought Melissa was "hot, sexy, beautiful and intelligent."

Although Ricky and Melissa made plans for the day after their meeting, Melissa said she couldn’t hang out because she had a lot of homework to do. As a gentleman, Ricky didn’t want to add any pressure, but he hoped she would change her mind. Ricky just hoped that wasn't Melissa's way of saying she was not interested in him.

Ricky then revealed to his cousin via video chat that he had rejected Melissa for a kiss the night prior by turning the cheek. The cousin therefore wondered if Melissa was blowing Ricky off due to that awkward incident.

Ricky immediately regretted his actions, but he didn't want Melissa to think he was focused on having a physical relationship with her. Regardless, Ricky was willing to do whatever it takes to win her back and win her over.

Ricky said he was invested in his romance, but he was so disappointed to find out later that day Melissa was a no-show.

"I thought she was the one, but Melissa has no time for me. I was naive to think we had something real. It's heartbreaking she's not here,” Ricky said.

KARINE and PAUL

Since Paul was in Brazil on a Tourist Visa, they had very little time to get married. Paul’s documents needed to be approved so they could wed and she could eventually go back to the United States with him.

Paul and Karine were told they could tie the knot in 30 days. The couple then looked at their future wedding venue and she was really happy.

That night, Karine told Paul that she wanted to start a family with him as soon as possible, but he wasn't sure they were ready for that next big step in life. Karine argued, however, a baby would bring them closer together and help them to stop fighting.

Karine was afraid to go to the United States and then have Paul leave her, so she wanted him to commit to her and promise a child.

Paul agreed to make Karine happy, but he felt they were moving too fast. Later that day, Paul spoke to his mother via video chat about marrying Karine and potentially welcoming a child with her. Paul's mother said, "No," to both ideas, and she definitely wasn't onboard.

Paul's mother called them "crazy" for rushing things and said they can't take care of a baby when they can barely take care of themselves. She added that Karine had plenty of time to become a mother down the road since she's young, not to mention having a baby is very expensive.

Paul realized he had to make sure he could be financially stable with Karine first, and living together wasn't going well.

Paul felt Karine could be lazy at times and acted like a teenager. She slept a lot and didn't cook or clean. Karine felt Paul bossed her around and acted like her dad.

When they went grocery shopping together, they also butted heads. Karine was on social media while Paul was trying to pick out products in another language, and when he got angry with her, she called him "super controlling." Paul felt like they were on two totally different pages.

TARIK and HAZEL

Tarik said his first night with Hazel didn't go well when he was anticipating an incredibly romantic evening. They slept with a divider in the bed, and she questioned if he was still interested in his ex. He got a “goodnight peck,” but he wasn't going to push or rush her.

After one day together, Tarik met Hazel's parents. Hazel was nervous because she cared very much what her parents thought about him. She just wished he was more religious.

Tarik soon discovered Hazel's family was very poor. Hazel believed marrying Tarik could make them all happy and solve her family's financial problems.

Tarik noted meeting her parents was "humbling" given the tiny quarters in which they lived. Hazel's parents then told Tarik that Hazel needed to be the only woman in his life and it was their hope Tarik would marry their daughter.

In order to receive a blessing from Hazel's parents, he attended church with the family but found himself extremely uncomfortable during the five-hour ceremony.  The mass was intense, with people yelling, crying and speaking in tongues.

Tarik realized there were "land mines" standing in the way of his relationship with Hazel, especially her family's strong faith in God. However, Tarik believed there is a God, and he respected their religion -- even though he had no intention of following it or getting baptized.

RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' SPOILERS: HOW DID RACHEL AND JON'S RELATIONSHIP TURN OUT?!

JON and RACHEL

Rachel said it was the best morning of her life because it was the first time she woke up next to Jon. She called it "surreal" and said she really enjoyed herself the night prior. Rachel giggled and gushed about how they had amazing chemistry, and it was apparent the couple had sex for the first time.

Rachel was then introduced to Jon's outspoken sister Abby as well as her children. Rachel anticipated Abby was going to speak her mind and wouldn't be worried about offending anybody.

"I could never keep track of Jon’s girlfriends because there were so many," Abby admitted in a confessional.

Jon told Abby that he had never felt more secure in a relationship, but Rachel felt Abby was trying to warn her about Jon's unflattering dating history. Abby even called her brother "a liar" when he said he had two previous girlfriends.

Abby simply believed Jon and Rachel were still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. It also became clear Jon knew nothing about kids.

Jon later admitted to Rachel he felt Lucy calling him "dad" would be wrong. She thought the title was fitting considering Jon paid for her daycare and was in the picture while she was pregnant, but Jon thought the title meant nothing given his own dad wasn't even around much.

Jon was going to let Lucy know he loved her, but he wasn't onboard with her viewing him as her father. Rachel, however, hoped Jon would change his mind because she wanted him to play that role in her daughter's life.

"First we have to decide if we want to spend the rest of our lives together," Jon told the cameras.
