Instead of following Americans and their foreign partners dating in the United States and attempting to marry within 90 days like the original 90 Day Fiance series, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving across the globe and living in foreign countries for the sake of love and their future spouses.

Paul Staehle and Karine Martins were not featured in the latest episode, and neither were Laura, a 51-year-old from Eustis, FL, and Aladin, a 29-year-old from Qatar.

After arriving in their new countries, the six American cast members will be shown racing a ticking clock and experiencing major culture shocks and challenges -- including winning over their soon-to-be foreign in-laws and trying to plan a wedding.

"Will uprooting their lives in the United States pay off or be the biggest mistake ever?" TLC teases.

Below is the latest on each 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple based on Monday night's episode on TLC.

TIFFANY and RONALD

Tiffany was about to arrive in South Africa, and she knew her story sounded crazy about marrying a man she had spent such little time with who just got out of rehab for a gambling addiction. But Tiffany acknowledged she had spent countless hours with Ronald on the phone and knew him very well.

Once Tiffany and her son Daniel arrived at the airport in South Africa, Ronald's mother Ria was waiting for them with flowers, heart balloons and a shark stuffed animal for Daniel.

Ria was "ecstatic" about the pair moving for her son, who was still held up at a wellness center. Ria and Tiffany were apparently very close because they depended on each other once Ronald "hit rock bottom."

Tiffany and Daniel were staying with Ria that night and planned to pick Ronald up from rehab the following day.

Daniel was really excited to try new candies in South Africa and finally meet Ronald face-to-face for the first time.

Tiffany's Tourist Visa was only good for 90 days, so she had three months basically to determine whether Ronald truly was a changed man and she could marry him and spend the rest of her life with him.

"It is so important for Ronald to not mess up again, because I can forgive Ronald if he hurts me, but I will never forgive him if he hurts Daniel," Tiffany told the cameras.

It then became time for Daniel to meet Ronald in person for the first time. Tiffany admitted she couldn't keep Daniel in South Africa if he's not truly happy.

When they pulled up to the wellness center, Daniel squeaked and cheered. When Tiffany's son got out of the car, he said, "Hi Dad," before running up to Ronald and hugging him.

"I love you," Ronald told Daniel, before kissing Tiffany and expressing how much he had missed her.

Ria could see a lot of change in Ronald after he had spent six months in rehab. And this was the first time Tiffany had seen him in nine months.

But Tiffany needed proof Ronald had changed since her future was on the line -- and so was Daniel's future.

Ronald feared relapsing and losing Tiffany forever, and she was definitely scared about that. Ronald's gambling addiction could also turn into a different addiction, such as alcohol or porn.

"There's always the possibility of a relapse, and if it happens, it's going to destroy our family," Tiffany said.

COREY and EVELIN

It had been about a week since Evelin left him to return to Ecuador, and he was missing her terribly.

Corey not only got all of his shots to move to Ecuador, but he also quit his job and sold his car for Evelin. She was so happy it sounded like he was finally ready to move.

Corey's parents were concerned and sad about his move, and Evelin said she was well aware of the sacrifices he was making.

When Corey needed some reassurance their relationship was going to work out, Evelin said she hoped so but they couldn't be certain. Corey didn't like that answer, because he wasn't moving to a foreign country on a whim.

Corey planned to get married and apply for his Ecuadorian citizenship, but the last time Evelin saw an engagement ring in his bag, she freaked out.

Corey hoped Evelin would feel differently once he moved to Ecuador for her, and he said it was "not cool" she seemed to be on the fence about the future of their romance.

Corey was later shown packing his belongings for his trip to Ecuador. He loved Evelin and was crazy about her and said he'd do anything for her.

Corey had an engagement ring ready for Evelin and hoped she wouldn't back out. He hoped she realized just how serious this move really was for him and his family.

Corey intended to obtain dual citizenship, and he asked his parents to attend their future wedding in Ecuador. But his future with Evelin was uncertain, and his father advised him not to marry if Evelin didn't seem 100 percent invested in their relationship.

Corey was sad to leave a place he loved as well as his parents, but they were as supportive as possible. Corey's mother broke down into tears upon saying goodbye, and Corey feared he was doing the worst thing he could be doing.

"My heart is keeping me going, and I am ready to risk everything for her because of the way I feel," Corey told the cameras.

Corey was then shown traveling to Ecuador to reunite with his girlfriend.

Once Corey arrived in Ecuador after two days of traveling, Evelin was nowhere to be found at the airport. When he called her on the phone, Evelin said, "Sorry," and told Corey to "take the bus."

"You're a big man and you can come all the way here," Evelin told him over the phone.

Corey said it was "sketchy" and "dangerous" to take a bus to Engabao with all of his belongings, but Evelin basically told him to suck it up and he'd be fine.

Corey was clearly disappointed, sad and frustrated Evelin didn't greet him at the airport. He thought it was a stupid idea to take a bus with all of his bags. Corey had heard horror stories about people being robbed on buses.

DEAVAN and JIHOON

Jihoon, a used phone dealer, revealed he lives with his mother, father and dog.

Prior to meeting Deavan, he had been in short-term relationships, and his longest relationship ever lasted one year.

Jihoon said he met Deavan on a dating app and she appeared to be a Korean guy's fantasy. She posted beautiful modeling photos and said she's a western girl.

They used translating apps to have conversations and apparently began talking to each other every day for three months. They fell in love, and so Jihoon made plans to travel to America and meet her in person.

Jihoon worried it might be a scam and even suspected illegal organ trafficking, but once he met her, he was in love and his days of freedom as a single man were over.

Deavan is a single mom to a "rambunctious" three-year-old girl. She lived at home with her family -- her mom, dad and sister -- and planned to move to South Korea to be with her boyfriend.

Deavan said they had been together for eight months but only spent three-and-a-half weeks together in person. Her family thought she was crazy for moving to another country, especially since she has a young daughter.

Deavan said she dated quite a few Asian men in the past, most of whom were Korean. After a relationship with an American man failed, Deavan downloaded an international dating app and found Jihoon.

When Jihoon first visited Deavan in the United States, they slept together that first night and she got pregnant. The pair found out she was expecting via six positive pregnancy tests on the day he was leaving to return to South Korea.

When Jihoon got back to South Korea, he told Deavan they should get married.

While pregnant, Deavan returned to South Korea for one week to meet his parents, Hong Ju and Jung, and try to gain a better understanding of Korean culture.

But when Jihoon's parents found out she was pregnant, they were apparently horrified because Deavan has tattoos and never graduated from college. She was also a single mom from another country.

"I don't know if his parents were avoiding me, but we never had time to sit down and discuss anything, so I never got their blessing. I just left Korea feeling like I'm not good enough for their son in their eyes," Deavan explained.

When this spin off filmed, Deavan was seven months pregnant with Jihoon's baby and she planned to move to South Korea when the baby is seven weeks old so they can be together.

Deavan intended to uproot everything and move her young daughter.

Jihoon, however, hadn't proposed yet because they needed to prove to his parents they were truly in love. If Jihoon's parents determined Deavan isn't good enough for their son and they don't like her, Deavan said she wouldn't be able to marry Jihoon.

Deavan later revealed Jihoon's parents would be coming to America for one week to get to know her better. They'd be staying together in a rental house she had found in Las Vegas.

Deavan hoped the meeting would result in her receiving their blessing to marry Jihoon. She wanted to show them a good time in the United States, but she was extremely nervous about the visit.

Deavan said everything was riding on this visit because she refused to move to South Korea without a commitment.

Jihoon's mother was then shown telling Jihoon she had "a mental breakdown" upon finding out Deavan was pregnant. Jihoon knew her parents didn't get the best first impression of his girlfriend.

Jihoon's parents thought Deavan looked tired, unhappy and uncomfortable when they first met her. They weren't sure how Deavan would adjust to their environment, especially considering she doesn't speak Korean.

Jihoon hoped his parents would grow to love Deavan during their time in Las Vegas.

JENNY and SUMIT

Jenny and Sumit both woke up smiling and happy after their first night together in India. The pair took a rickshaw to go shopping and buy Jenny some new clothes since she didn't stick out so much as a blonde-haired, blue-eyed foreigner.

Jenny was nervous about being spotted by Sumit's family because she didn't know what would happen in that case.

Sumit wanted Jenny to wear a traditional sari, but that wasn't Jenny's style and she thought it would make her look old. She preferred Rajoo dresses, but Sumit didn't like it.

Sumit attempted to convince Jenny to dress in a traditional manner and try it on, but she wasn't happy. Sumit wanted her to blend in to Indian culture, but she simply wasn't comfortable and refused to "turn into a traditional Indian woman."

"That's not who I am," Jenny said. "I'm an American woman and we don't like being told what to do. And I don't want to be told what to wear -- at all."
