BRITTANY AND YAZAN

Brittany said she was tired of putting up with her "broke ass," "dusty ass," "narcissistic mama's boy" boyfriend. Brittany felt Yazan was blaming her for crashing a car that she didn't even know he had, and so she didn't even want to see his face.

Meanwhile, Yazan attempted to explain the situation and said he had called Brittany five or six times and because she didn't answer him, he messaged her while driving and hit another car and got into an accident.

Yazan sent Brittany the pictures of his car and was hoping for words of comfort, but he was angry because Brittany just accused him of making a mistake and banging up the car he had purchased for himself.

Yazan explained his feelings had been hurt and he wasn't sure which of Brittany's needs he wasn't meeting.

At the last minute, Brittany decided to fly to Jordan and just spend time with her girlfriend whom she planned to meet. Brittany settled on the fact her trip would become "a girls' trip" and she wouldn't even meet up with Yazan.

"I'm not going to see Yazan. I refuse. I don't want to be with somebody who yells at me and treats me like that and is very manipulative in the way he is," Brittany vented in a confessional.

"This is too toxic for me, and I just don't have time for that. As far as I'm concerned, Yazan and I are done."

After 18 hours of travel, Brittany finally landed in Jordan. Brittany admitted she was missing Yazan a little bit on her flight but then her "logical mind" took over and told her to stop thinking about him.

Brittany didn't want to argue, and Yazan said Brittany was ignoring all of his messages and calls. However, Yazan decided to go to the airport and try to see his girlfriend anyways.

Yazan showed up without flowers to make a statement, but he said he missed her a lot and still loved her. The pair, however, couldn't find each other at the airport and totally missed one another until Brittany nearly hopped into a taxi.

Brittany was upset about her lack of a warm welcome, and Yazan assumed Brittany just left him at the airport.

The original plan was for Brittany to live with Yazan at his apartment, but since the pair weren't speaking, she checked herself into a hotel. Meanwhile, Yazan said he was angry and upset to the point he didn't want to hear from her or hear any excuses.

"It's clear. It's impossible. It's impossible that she didn't see me. Maybe I was an idiot. I shouldn't have come anyway," Yazan noted.

"I am fighting my family for Brittany. I don't know, I am feeling that my family is right."

Yazan decided to go home, go to sleep and wait for fate to take over and show him his destiny.

Brittany then met her girlfriend Angela in the lobby of her hotel. Brittany said it felt weird to be in Jordan without Yazan but she had decided to break up with him after their last big fight.

Brittany just wanted to enjoy herself and turn her trip to Jordan into a vacation, and she complained Yazan had been acting "like a fool" while enjoying a glass of champagne.

Angela thought Brittany was just guarding her heart and dismissed Yazan's problems as a defense mechanism. When Yazan texted Brittany that he wasn't okay, she decided to FaceTime him in order to talk.

Yazan told Brittany that he was at the airport, but she insisted she never saw him or heard from him. Brittany told Yazan to take responsibility for his actions and just "act f-cking right" as Yazan attempted to shout over her.

The pair argued over the phone and then Brittany's phone died, and Angela had no idea where Brittany and Yazan's relationship stood.

Later on, Brittany and Angela went out to dinner together and Brittany noticed everyone was staring at them. She said it finally made sense why Yazan always wanted her to cover up when in public.

Brittany told Angela that she needed to settle down because not everything had to be a fight or breakup.

"I don't want him to feel like I'm expecting him to be perfect; there's just some things I really need him to work on, and I need him to be serious about it," Brittany told her pal. "Building a life together is serious."

Angela advised Brittany to be honest and explain the real issue to Yazan without yelling at him, but Brittany admitted she liked to keep her guard up in order to not get hurt.

"I have a weak spot for Yazan I don't always like to admit," Brittany said, before FaceTiming with Yazan.

She told Yazan that it was hard to fight with him when she got to see his face, and she decided to see Yazan during her trip and talk things out. Yazan asked to pick Brittany and Angela up from the downtown restaurant, and she agreed.

Brittany planned to give Yazan the benefit of the doubt, and Angela said she was happy that Brittany was open to seeing him. However, Brittany was "a little bit tipsy," according to Angela, and so she didn't know how Yazan might react to that.

ARIELA AND BINIYAM

Ariela's son Aviel was two weeks old and Biniyam had returned to work in order to support his family. Ariela felt like Biniyam was "working nonstop," and while she appreciated him working hard, she wished he could stay home more and spend more time with his family.

It was hard for Ariela because she didn't have any support or anyone helping her to take care of Avi in Ethiopia.

Biniyam was working as a dancer and as an MC, and Ariela seemed a little annoyed she was stuck at home while he got to spend time at the club and dance with beautiful women all night.

"I do trust him in a lot of ways, but I think as human beings, there is always temptation to cheat," Ariela said.

"People are weak and stupid, and I'm no exception. And I hate to say it, but [Biniyam] is no exception. We make mistakes, and I don't want some dumb mistake to affect us forever."

Ariela was anticipating her parents' arrival, but Ariela felt the need to get something off her chest first. Ariela said she didn't want to fight with her parents coming but Biniyam wasn't listening to her when she said she was lonely.

Ariela admitted she was worried about their relationship and Biniyam either wasn't around or was too tired to talk to her and listen to her. Ariela also recalled how Biniyam's sister made her feel a little paranoid about Biniyam being around pretty girls at work.

Biniyam explained his work was complicated but he needed Ariela to trust him. And with that being said, Ariela confessed, "I don't trust you," adding that she needed more from him.

Ariela said it didn't feel good to worry about Biniyam and feel the need to go through his phone at night, but Biniyam said he hated Ariela's lack of confidence and trust in him.

"Extremely detailed, she look at my phone. If I have to tell her everything, my love for Ari will grow smaller," Biniyam admitted in a confessional.

Ariela said a woman had called Biniyam and when Ariela called her on the phone, the woman hung up when she heard English being spoken. Ariela wondered if Biniyam was lying and cheating on her, but Biniyam said, "I have no idea what you are talking about."

Ariela never considered herself a jealous person before, but she said Biniyam pushed her to the limits sometimes.

"He's always kind of portraying me as the bad one and I'm a b-tch, but he doesn't tell me anything and we're not communicating. We are more like roommates with a baby," Ariela explained in a confessional.

Ariela then asked to see Biniyam's phone, and he took a minute to look through it first. Ariela called Biniyam "an assh-le" and grabbed the phone out of his hand.

Biniyam accused Ariela of freaking out for no reason and gave her permission to call numbers in his phone. Biniyam asked Ariela what was wrong with her, and Ariela said she wasn't going to put up with Biniyam turning off his phone for any reason.

The pair continued to bicker and Biniyam took a big breath to try to calm himself down.

Ariela and Biniyam then went to pick Ariela's parents up at the airport, and Biniyam hoped he could win her father's approval. Biniyam feared Ariela's father might force her to leave Africa and return to the United States.

Biniyam then told Ariela she had to work that night, which made Ariela furious.

Ariela said if Biniyam cared about making a good impression on her parents, he wouldn't leave, but Biniyam insisted he couldn't find anyone to cover his position for the night.

"This is not okay," Ariela said, as she wondered whether Biniyam was actually meeting up  with another woman. "I am really pissed off... My parents are coming to meet him and meet our family, and he's just going to leave? I am so disappointed right now."

Ariela told Biniyam it looked like he didn't "give a f-ck," and she told her man "to do better" because he was failing to make her happy.

Biniyam then picked Ariela's parents, Fred and Janice, up at the airport while Ariela stayed back with the baby at the hotel. Biniyam waited with a bouquet of flowers but he was scared to meet Ariela's father since he's "a wealthy doctor."

Biniyam called Ariela's father Dr. Weinberg and Fred allowed Biniyam to call him "Dad." Fred thought Biniyam had kind eyes, and he thought that was a great start.

Janice was thrilled to hold her grandchild for the first time, and she called Avi "the cutest human being" she's ever seen. Ariela had "no words" to see her father in Africa with her baby when he apparently has to work all the time and never travels.

Biniyam then shared he had to work that night and felt bad about leaving, and Ariela called her man out for having bad timing. Janice just hoped Biniyam was helping Ariela with the baby and she didn't feel lonely all the time.

"Biniyam is a great father, but he has not been around when I need him. Our relationship is not easy," Ariela said in a confessional, adding, "I am so angry right now."

Ariela told Biniyam he couldn't sleep the next day because she was already angry he was about to leave her with a crying baby. Ariela hated the idea of Biniyam "flirting with people as a means of making money."

Ariela thought Biniyam leaving made him look like a jerk, and she really wanted her father to like Biniyam.

DEAVAN AND JIHOON

Deavan said Jihoon was working really hard for their family but they just received some shocking news.

"A few weeks ago, we found out I was pregnant again, and at first, I was really scared. We just had Taeyang and we are definitely not financially stable enough for another one," Deavan shared.

"But then I got really excited -- stuff happens for a reason. A baby is always a blessing and I was accepting of it and ready to do it. However, we did get some devastating news recently. When I went to a checkup and they did an ultrasound, that's when we figured out that we lost the baby."

Deavan said she felt "very sad" and never thought a miscarriage would happen to her in her lifetime. She called the loss the hardest thing she's ever been through in her life, adding that she was "very devastated."

Deavan figured time would heal her wounds, and Jihoon added that they were going through a very difficult time.

Deavan explained her body just couldn't handle the pregnancy, maybe because she had gone through so much stress at the time, but she intended to focus on the positive with Jihoon's love and support.

Jihoon told the cameras he was trying very hard to be nice to Deavan, who noted the miscarriage had brought Jihoon and herself closer together. Deavan said she loved Jihoon and he helped her through the "tragic" event.

"Us fighting about money, fighting about the apartment, fighting about loyalty -- us losing this baby made us realize how much we care about each other and it's not worth the petty little fights anymore," Deavan told the cameras.

"It's really caused us to bond and stop fighting and just be there for each other."

Deavan said that much to her surprise, Jihoon's mother had been there for her through the miscarriage and she wanted to continue improving upon their relationship.

Jihoon's mother was trying to show Deavan a lot of love at the miscarriage, and so she took her daughter-in-law to a Korean museum, which Deavan loved because she's big into history and enjoys collecting antiques or artifacts.

There was still a great language barrier between the two women, but Deavan expressed how she was struggling a lot and Jihoon's mother called her "courageous" and advised her to be patient because more good things would happen.

Deavan was grateful for having Jihoon and his mother's support and love, and Deavan noted she finally felt like she had a normal mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship.

TIM AND MELYZA

Tim's mother Robin and aunt Karmyn just landed in Colombia and he said he was very excited to see them. However, Tim was a bit hesitant about what was to come since he and Melyza had their fair share of struggles.

Tim figured his mother was going to be protective, and he hoped this wouldn't create waves. Tim's mother apparently once said Melyza wasn't good for her son and they shouldn't be together, so Melyza didn't anticipate the smoothest reunion.

However, once Tim's family arrived at the airport, Melyza joyfully embraced the women.

Robin admitted she was anxious to discuss Tim and Melyza's problems with them, and Melyza explained it was "early to tell" whether her relationship was going to work out long-term.

Melyza said she and Tim needed more time to figure out exactly where they stood, and Robin noted it would be interesting to see how things transpire. Melyza said she didn't really know how to act or respond to Robin sometimes and there was tension.

Robin seemed put off by Melyza's decision to sleep at her parents' house while the women were in town, and Tim agreed Melyza's choice started things off on the wrong foot.

"I'm worried this is going to be a more uncomfortable and awkward visit than I had hoped," Tim said.

Robin once threatened to call the police on Melyza, and so Tim didn't expect Melyza to get over that. Robin explained the situation had been awkward for her because she was like "a captive audience" when Tim and Melyza fought and she "had no place to go."

Tim hoped Melyza and Robin would be able to talk things out since they still had love for each other. Tim thought Melyza sleeping at her parents' house sent "mixed signals" to Robin that she didn't want to work things out.

Tim, Melyza and Robin then went to a local market for food and shopping, and Robin tried to clear the air with Melyza and fix their dynamic.

"[Robin] did say to me that she thought I wasn't good for [Tim] and that we should not be together, but that's not going to be something she admits because obviously that is not okay," Melyza told the cameras.

Robin told the couple she just wanted them to move on if they couldn't be truly happy with each other. Melyza said everyone was sensitive and protective at the time but she wished she had someone she could depend on, and Robin replied, "I understand."

Neither woman said sorry, and Tim believed it was because each prideful woman didn't want to take blame for what had happened or admit being wrong.

Robin assured Melyza that she still loved and respected her, and that made Melyza feel a little better even though Tim's mother wouldn't apologize for saying hurtful things in the past.

JENNY AND SUMIT

After Sumit had finalized his divorce, Jenny looked forward to marrying Sumit. She gushed, "Finally!"

Sumit no longer felt weight on his shoulders and said he finally felt free, so he suggested Jenny and himself should have a ring ceremony, which is essentially a big engagement party with dancing.

Sumit and Jenny made a list of people to invite who might bring them gifts, and Sumit hoped his parents would attend the celebration. However, Sumit admitted to Jenny that his parents still objected to their wedding and getting married.

"I am promising you, I am not going to let anybody stop us from getting married," Sumit assured Jenny.

"I hope you're right about that," Jenny replied.

Jenny insisted she and Sumit were going to make it happen and no one was going to stop them.

Four days later, the country went on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sumit went out shopping for some food, but people were asked to stay in their homes whenever possible.

Sumit said he's a diabetic and Jenny "is old" and so COVID-19 was more threatening to the both of them. A hospital was nearby, which was fortunate for the couple, but Sumit and Jenny were still nervous about contracting the virus.

Jenny revealed to her daughter Christina over videochat that she was on complete lockdown and no one was allowed into or out of her apartment.

On April 8, 2020, Jenny and Sumit filmed themselves playing games at home and trying to pass the time. Sumit said he and Jenny bonded and were happy, but Jenny wanted to go back outside and see the world.

At this point, the lockdown was extended for two more weeks, and Jenny said the uncertainty bothered her because her visa was about to expire and she wouldn't be able to leave the country. Jenny therefore hoped her visa would continue to be extended.
