90 Day Diaries follows former 90 Day Fiance cast members navigating their lives after the show, providing viewers with an intimate view into their homes, plans and daily struggles.

Some of the footage will be self-shot, similar to how cast members filmed themselves for 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined.

90 Day Diaries' Season 3 cast will chronicle not just successful 90 Day Fiance couples but also numerous 90 Day Fiance alums who didn't see their original 90 Day Fiance relationship work out. The cast members will attempt to begin new romances after the failure of their prior overseas relationships.

The season will feature more cast members in the coming weeks, but below is what happened on Episode 2 of 90 Day Diaries' third season.

JOVI and YARA

Jovi and Yara were shown packing up suitcases to evacuate from New Orleans, LA, as Hurricane Ida -- predicted to be a Category 4 or 5 storm at the time -- was coming in their direction. Jovi joked how Yara was more concerned about packing her Gucci belt that the couple's birth certificates.

Yara said when she moved to New Orleans two years prior, she never thought they'd have to deal with storms such as these.

Yara and Jovi headed to Dallas, TX, where they could stay in a hotel and would have AC, power, food and more.

Jovi recalled how he and Yara met on a traveling app and they met in Budapest. In the beginning, the pair didn't connect very well and Yara accused Jovi of calling her "a b-tch."

"You were kind of a b-tch," Jovi said.

"I was not. I was a sweetheart," Yara countered with a smile.

After a couple of weeks together, Jovi flew back home and then traveled once again to Ukraine. Yara then moved to America on a K-1 visa and the couple got married a year-and-a-half ago.

Yara and Jovi's daughter was born a few months after their wedding.

After a long drive, Yara and Jovi got settled into their hotel room, and Yara said their situation was so much better than what Jovi's mother was dealing with in New Orleans.

Three days later, Yara and Jovi decided not to leave Dallas because it would be an estimated three to five days until they could get power back.

Once the couple was in Dallas for eight days, they celebrated Mylah's birthday with a plate of cheese puffs, which is her favorite food over sweets and cake.

Jovi said his relationship was doing well but Yara was still waiting for her green card and hadn't been able to visit her family in Ukraine. Her green card had apparently been delayed multiple times, and she really wanted her mother to meet and spend time with Mylah in person.

The pair eventually returned home, and Yara admitted she was very nervous and scared to see the damage. Jovi and Yara planned to fill up on gas whenever possible and buy food on the way home.

Jovi and Yara drove into trees and power lines down all around them, and some people's homes were destroyed.

"I'm getting more and more impatient when it comes to waiting for this [green card] appointment, and now, because of the hurricane, who knows when the office will be open. It's so frustrating! I don't know how much longer I can wait," Yara complained.

AMBER and DANIEL

Three-and-a-half years ago, Amber was traveling through Costa Rica and trying to find her happiness after a bad breakup. Amber then met a Venezuelan named Daniel, which led to a one-night stand and then potentially being with her future husband.

The couple started dating, and after two years, they got engaged and applied for a K-1 visa.

Daniel got approved for the K-1 visa, and it had been four months since Amber last saw Daniel.

When Amber was being filmed for this show, she said she was about to pick Daniel up from the airport -- and she was ecstatic but also "so nervous" to have a reunion with her man.

The couple kissed and hugged in the airport, and Daniel gushed about being so excited to be back with his "woman." He said he couldn't wait to start his life in Florida with Amber.

Amber gave Daniel a tour of her house and liked everything he saw, but Daniel would also be living with Amber's roommate, her sister Ashley. Amber hoped Daniel and Ashley would get along and like each other, and she wanted everyone to be happy.

That evening, Amber planned a special dinner for Daniel and invited her best friend Jenn to the gathering as well. Amber said it felt like an out-of-body experience to bring all her favorite people together like that.

The couple only had 90 days to wed, but Amber didn't plan on doing that in a day or two. She looked forward to Daniel getting a job and making a life for himself in the United States.

Jenn thought Daniel seemed sweet, but she worried Amber would resent having to pay for everything for Daniel for several months until he could find some work. Daniel also apparently still owed Amber money.

"I don't know how far Amber is going to allow this to go," Jenn said.

About two months later, Amber was shown planning her wedding with a budget of $1,000.

Daniel called Amber "annoying" because he didn't like helping with the wedding decorations, and he thought she could rely on her mother and friends for things like that.

"I don't understand. It shouldn't be this hard for you to help me with OUR wedding," Amber lamented in a confessional.

Daniel said money was always an issue in their relationship and Amber was clearly tired of Daniel being unable to work. Daniel felt money was more important to Amber than anything else, but Amber said she just wanted a strong foundation for them.

It then became time for the couple's wedding day, and they both seemed happier and on a better page.

Amber and Daniel wanted to get married on a beach, but it was about to downpour and Amber didn't want her dress to get ruined.

"Having a beach wedding was really important to me. I'm extremely disappointed, but as always, Daniel and I will work it out," Amber noted.

The couple then moved their wedding ceremony into the room where they had planned their reception. Daniel said Amber looked absolutely beautiful on their wedding day.

"I can't even explain what I'm feeling because I'm just here in this moment with Daniel. I don't even see anyone else in this room," Amber gushed.

The pair exchanged vows and kissed in front of Amber's family and friends, and Amber determined rain on her wedding day must have been good luck.

Amber said everything she and Daniel had been through, including a pandemic and borders closing, finally culminated into a moment that made everything "worth it."

BRITTANY BANKS

Brittany was about to have her braces removed, and she was extremely excited for this visit. She had been wearing these braces for two years, when she also met her former fiance Yazan Abo Horira online.

Brittany had traveled to Jordan and thought she was going to live there with him long-term, but she couldn't reach his family's expectations that she would adapt to their culture and basically change her religion and style.

Brittany couldn't picture herself confirming to Yazan's way of life, and his family didn't make her feel good enough for him.

Despite the issues she and Yazan were having, Brittany returned to the United States and planned to start the K-1 visa process. She thought their lives would be way easier in America opposed to their life together in Jordan.

"After I came home to do the K-1 visa, I found out that Yazan was cheating on me, and I decided that I was going to break it off," Brittany revealed.

"After Yazan, I dated someone named Terrence. He was sweet and very nice, but then I felt like he was playing a little bit of a game and so I decided I didn't want to play those games and I moved forward from that relationship."

Brittany therefore started dating again, and she was feeling more confident than ever and was really happy with her look post-braces and who she became as a person.

Brittany loved Atlanta for networking, and she also thought it was a great place to live for her rap career, which she was still pursuing.

Brittany was then shown decorating her place for Christmas with her best friend Ricardo.

Brittany revealed to Ricardo how she had entered an exclusive relationship with a man named Calvin, whom she called "marriage material."

"It's different dating him, I think, than a lot guys. He's not into his male ego, like, 'Stroke my ego while I give you nothing,'" Brittany explained.

Cal was a 30-year-old "charming" jeweler, according to Brittany, and he was the one who asked to put a title on their relationship. Brittany realized her romance had taken a serious direction and was no longer just fun, and she shared with Ricardo how the pair had been "intimate" and she "locked it in."

Brittany, however, still felt the need to talk to Cal about where they stood in their relationship and where he saw things going.

Brittany therefore planned to take Cal to lunch, and she asked Cal if they were moving a little too fast. Cal said he thought everything was going "perfect," but Brittany admitted putting a title on their relationship really scared her.

Cal said he'd continue to be patient with Brittany if she wasn't ready for commitment quite yet.

Brittany admitted she was afraid Cal would flip and change his personality if she committed to him because a man she had dated in the past -- presumably Yazan -- attempted to control her and tell her what to do and what she should wear once they became exclusive.

"That's not my intentions with you. I don't want to try to change you," Cal insisted. "'Cause this is the person I like."

Brittany playfully asked Cal to slow down but not talk to any other women, and he was admittedly confused and unsure of how to proceed. He hoped Brittany would let down her guard and let him in so they could figure things out together.

TIMOTHY MALCOLM

Tim is apparently still best friends with his ex-fiancee Veronica, a 36-year-old from Charlotte, NC, and he said she had gotten into an accident -- although she had allegedly been in quite a few car accidents before.

Veronica broke her foot in the car accident and so she wasn't going to be able to walk or drive for three months, which meant Tim needed to step up. He put together a scooter for Veronica so she could get around, and he recognized his life was going to be different for a while.

Back in 2018, Tim met Jeniffer online and traveled to Colombia to see if he had found his soul mate. Tim said they started off their in-person romance with a lot of problems and so their relationship didn't pan out the way he had hoped.

Tim therefore returned home to North Carolina and he and Jeniffer decided to end their relationship.

"I ultimately went back to my family life with Veronica and Chloe," Tim said. "I have a very unique arrangement with my ex-fiancee, Veronica."

Tim had met Veronica in 2008 and her daughter Chloe was only a year or a year-and-a-half old.

Chloe's biological father is not involved with her life and so Tim made the decision to raise her as his own child because she needed a father figure.

Tim said he and Veronica were always able to put Chloe first and now they have "a really great platonic relationship." However, their dynamic created a strain on Tim's current romantic love life since Veronica and Chloe would always be like family to him.

Tim admitted that Veronica tended to be very demanding, and the pair went on to plan a quinceanera for Chloe in the form of a teen photo shoot.

Veronica said she considered Tim to be like a brother, and Tim was asked to tell Chloe that her photo shoot must be classy and elegant -- and not sexy.

Tim took Chloe to get her hair done, and Veronica said she trusted Tim to take care of the photo shoot without her since she couldn't get around very well.

Chloe wore a beautiful white ballgown for her photo shoot, and Tim expressed how he loved being around for Chloe as she grew up.
