The Voice eliminated two Top 10 artists during Tuesday night's broadcast of the NBC reality singing competition's fourth season.

Josiah Hawley from Ft. Smith, AR, and Kris Thomas from Memphis, TN, were ousted from the competition during last night's live one-hour results show after The Voice host Carson Daly revealed they had received the least number of home viewer votes following Monday night's live performance show.

The two artists to receive the fewest votes each week will be forced to go home no matter which coach's team they are on. Kris was a member of Shakira's team. Josiah was one of the team members representing Usher this season.

"For the group number we have to perform, we basically had a late-night rehearsal. And after we left, he stayed an extra 45 minutes just to practice, just to make sure his part was like perfect. So he leads by example, giving the perfect example of how you have to work hard to get where you want to be. So talent only gets you so far. Hard work gets you the rest of the way," Josiah told Carson before the results were revealed.

Ironically, the two newbie coaches on the show each lost another member of their team this early on. Both Usher and Shakira are now down to only one person each on their teams.

The remaining member of Usher's team is Michelle Chamuel from Amherst, MA. "Team Shakira" is left with Sasha Allen from New York, NY.

The fourth-season teams of veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remain intact. "Team Adam" is comprised of Judith Hill from Pasadena, CA; Amber Carrington from Rockwall, TX; and Sarah Simmons from Memphis, TN.

Blake's team features the following artists: Holly Tucker from Lorena, TX; Danielle Bradbery from Cypress, TX; and Colton Swon and Zach Swon from Muskogee, OK -- a duo who perform as The Swon Brothers.
