Nearly three years after their engagement aired on Season 12 of The Bachelorette, JoJo and Jordan have announced their wedding is on the horizon.

"It's happening," JoJo, 28, told People, adding that the couple will exchange vows in "spring or summer" of next year.

"We want an outdoor wedding in California either Malibu, Napa or Santa Barbara. We're going to tour and lock in a venue sooner rather than later."

JoJo said she and Jordan, 30, realize fans have been disappointed in their decision to continuously push off their wedding date.

"In the beginning, we had more of the ability to say we're going to date and court each other, but then three years go by and we started to feel like people were annoyed by it. They're like, 'You're never going to get married!'" JoJo said.

But JoJo insisted the timing of everything had to be right, and the pair have clearly been busy with their new Cash Pad reality series, which just premiered Tuesday night at 10PM ET/PT on CNBC.

"We wouldn't change it," JoJo said of the couple's choice to wait years to wed.

"Without having those years to go through different seasons of life together and learning how to navigate through the good and the bad, I wouldn't feel as confident. It was important for us to know that this was what we wanted for the rest of our lives. I'm happy we waited. But now we're good to go!"

JoJo and Jordan also just announced on Instagram earlier this week they recently bought their first house to live in together in Dallas, TX.

JoJo posted a photo of the house's exterior, which is apparently still in the early stages of renovation.

"Hey y'all... we are NEW HOMEOWNERS!!! Ahhh Our Cash Pad renos may be done, but now we get to tackle customizing our very first REAL home together! Bring on the stress of picking more perfect white paints -- I CANT WAIT!! @jrodgers11 you ready for some construction therapy!?" JoJo wrote.

And Jordan shared a similar image and captioned it, "WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOUSE TOGETHER!!! (She's really stuck with me now) Seriously though, we couldn't be more excited to start this next chapter in our lives together. Not only do we have OUR show #CashPad... but now we have something we can truly call OURS."

Jordan added on Instagram, "The first home we will live in as a married couple next year!! Can't wait for JoJo to add some of her style and design to the final phase of the build out and move-in in just a few months. We will share much more soon!"

JoJo and Jordan purchased a home in May but that was with the intention of flipping and selling it for Cash Pad, which follows the lovebirds as they help transform ordinary homes and apartments into lucrative short-term rental properties.

"We've had the best time," JoJo told People of filming their new show. "When it's stressful, obviously you're going to butt heads, but I am shocked with how little we have big disagreements."

JoJo and Jordan previously revealed some details about the vision they have for their big day during a February episode of their webseries, Engaged With JoJo and Jordan, according to Entertainment Tonight.

"We said [in early January] that 2019 was going to be the year that we set our date, so now we're actively thinking about when the date is going to be," JoJo reportedly noted, adding they'd like a spring wedding.

JoJo and Jordan revealed at the time they'd prefer a destination wedding with a small bridal party over a huge, local celebration and would enjoy a variety of flowers -- but no red roses -- as well as a "mini Chipotle bar" to show their personalities.

JoJo and Jordan also said in February they'd like to take off on a honeymoon right when the wedding is over.
