Taylor Frankie Paul has revealed how she'd feel if her The Bachelorette frontrunner wants to wait until marriage to have sex.

"Uhh, errr, that's a hard one," Taylor muttered during a recent appearance on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast.

"I'd respect it because I'm like, 'Uh, you're being respectful!' BUT. BUT. Ughh. Gosh damn. That's a hard one."

Taylor, a 31-year-old divorced mother of three and the creator of #MomTok in her Mormon community, will be handing out roses on The Bachelorette's 22nd season when it premieres in 2026.

"I'd be like, 'Okay, well if we were the only ones and we're dating and we had time -- but, like, to be married?'" Taylor questioned.

"I would probably say -- also if there's an engagement at the end of this process, I still am taking my time with that too. So I'm not getting married, like, tomorrow."

Taylor therefore wondered how long this guy would be willing to wait to get married and how long she'd be willing to wait to be intimate.

"That could be an issue down the road," said The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star.

Although Taylor has been open about her sex life with fans -- including her soft-swinging scandal with ex-husband Tate Paul, whom she married in 2016 and divorced in 2022 -- she admitted that growing up in the Mormon Church affected her views on sex.

Taylor recalled how sex was a very "taboo" topic in her household, and so if she was doing it, she wouldn't talk to her parents or anyone else about it.

"I was very, I don't want to say 'secretive,' but I felt shame and guilt," Taylor confessed.

But Taylor said once her life became public, both on social media and on TV, she decided to be candid and own all of her decisions.

"Obviously we're taught, 'Don't have sex until you're married.' And I go back and forth with this too," Taylor explained.

"I understand other people's opinions, like, obviously it does prevent a lot of things like pregnancies and STDs... But at the same time, I hate that I felt like if I did do it, I'm this awful person and would sit in that shame."

But Taylor pointed out how no one is to blame for that because her parents had learned these teachings from their parents.

"It's sacred, and I do understand that too. It's personal," Taylor said.

"I think moving forward, for me, I don't want to be talking too much about my sex life, to be honest. I've been there, I've done that. I've broadcast it to the world in so many different ways."

She continued, "But for me and my peace, I think that's something I do want to be personal with my next person and maybe not talk so much on it. I think that's something I've maybe grown into."

Over the years, Taylor has been criticized for "not being Mormon enough" because of her lifestyle and actions.

However, Taylor said she would still like to date a man who believes in God.

"Because when you're raising your children, it can get confusing when one does [believe] and one doesn't," Taylor reasoned.

Taylor said the most important thing to her is to focus on the foundation of Christianity -- love, family and service.

"That's all I really care about, and how you treat other people," Taylor noted. "I don't really care what religion you are; how do you treat other people? That is what I look at."

Taylor said if she drinks alcohol or coffee, for example -- which many Mormons frown upon -- it doesn't make her any less of a good person.

When Taylor and Tate were together, they welcomed two children: daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5.

Taylor previously admitted to violating the rules of the couple's soft-swinging arrangement by becoming more intimate with another man in their friend group, which led to their separation and eventual May 2022 divorce.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which premiered in 2023 on Hulu, featured the cheating scandal.

The show has also documented Taylor's first post-divorce relationship with Dakota Mortensen. Taylor and Dakota made their romance public in July 2022, and then they welcomed a son, Ever True, in March 2024.

While The Bachelorette won't be returning until next year, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is set to release new episodes on November 13 on Hulu.

Two other stars from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, are currently competing on Dancing with the Stars' 34th season on ABC and Disney+.

When Dancing with the Stars premiered its new season on September 16, Taylor was in the audience supporting her friends and co-stars.

The Bachelorette's official premiere date and cast of bachelors for Season 22 will be announced at a later date.
