Survivor: Worlds Apart's merged Merica tribe eliminated Tyler Fredrickson from the game during Wednesday night's eleventh episode of the CBS reality competition's 30th season.

Tyler, a 33-year-old ex-talent agent assistant from Los Angeles, CA, was the twelfth person voted out of the game and therefore became the season's fifth jury member. His Merica tribe got him out on Night 32 at the season's twelfth Tribal Council session.

"What can I say? I left it all in the field, so to speak. My tactics to go after Dan tonight were right, it's just the rest of the group didn't really follow suit. I had a blast. I regret nothing that I did. Everything that I did was to my full potential. It's just difficult to get ahead in this game if you're not winning challenges, and unfortunately, I came up a little short today," Tyler said following his ouster.

The players still in the game at this point were Tyler; Sierra Dawn Thomas, a 27-year-old barrel racer from Roy, UT; Mike Holloway, a 38-year-old oil driller from North Richland Hills, TX; Dan Foley, a 47-year-old postal worker from Gorham, ME; and Rodney Lavoie Jr., a 24-year-old general contractor from Boston, MA.

Also still vying for the title of "Sole Survivor" were Will Sims II, a 41-year-old YouTube sensation from Sherman Oaks, CA, and Carolyn Rivera, a 52-year-old corporate executive from Tampa, FL.

On Night 29, following Shirin Oskooi's ouster, the alliance of six was trying to figure out who voted for Dan since he got two votes thrown his way. Mike, an outsider from the majority alliance, was having fun watching people scramble, because since he had a hidden Immunity Idol to play at the next Tribal, one of the six was certainly going home.

Tyler then openly explained to the group he had to write someone else's name down other than his own because Mike was going after him. In case Mike played his idol at the last Tribal for Shirin, Tyler found his odds of staying in the game too risky to not vote for Dan.

Will also admitted to Dan he was the other person who had written his name down. Will said he thought his boy Tyler was going home and he couldn't let that happen. Dan had a moment of reservation because he realized he was on the bottom of his alliance and a couple loyal allies betrayed him. However, he felt Mike was still "Public Enemy No. 1" and insisted to Will they were going far in this game together.

Meanwhile, Tyler planned on voting for Dan again. Tyler noted Dan wasn't "extremely gullible but rather extremely loyal," which in this game, tend to be one in the same.

On Day 30, it was Rodney's birthday and he hoped to win his first Reward of the season. Will said he'd be willing to give up his for Rodney, who was thrilled he had such tight allies like Will and Carolyn. Rodney said if no one followed through on their word, his plan for the game might change, but he had 100% faith in them.

All the castaways then met Jeff Probst for a Reward Challenge, and the Survivor host explained the instructions.

They were divided into two teams of three and had to work together to unspool ribbons, releasing a key. Once they had that key, they had to build a ladder, climb to the top of the ladder, and then use that key to release a bag of balls. After making their way through a net to the finish, the castaways were required to land those balls into a series of targets using a slingshot-type of apparatus.

The first team to get one ball in each of the five targets would win Reward in the form of delivering supplies to worthy children from a local orphanage -- including school supplies, clothing, bedding, and sports equipment. They'd also all enjoy an afternoon barbecue with the kids complete with steak, chicken and pork. Everyone agreed it was an opportunity of a lifetime.

Someone had to sit out of the challenge and that person was Will. He was apparently left out of the schoolyard pick in which Captain Dan picked Tyler and Rodney, and Captain Carolyn chose Mike and Sierra.

In the end, Mike, Sierra and Carolyn won Reward. Carolyn declined to pass it up for Rodney, who was shocked, disappointed, and fairly angry. Rodney said aloud, "That's pretty sad." Rodney wasn't exactly expecting Sierra to give up her Reward, but he definitely thought Carolyn would.

Rodney acknowledged to the cameras that some people went back on their word but "it is what it is." He said it showed how "cutthroat" his "friends" really are in this game and they were bringing out a bad, crazy side to him. Carolyn knew Rodney was going to be mad at her, but she really didn't care.

Once on the Reward, Mike said there was no one he'd rather share it with than Sierra and Carolyn. Carolyn said in a confessional that Mike had a lot of power in the game because he won Immunity Challenges and also had a hidden Immunity Idol in his pocket.

Carolyn was thinking of aligning herself with the people who could take her further in the game. She wondered whether it was time to join forces with someone like Mike.

Meanwhile, back at camp, Rodney called Sierra and Carolyn "scumbags," pointing out that all bets were off. Rodney mocked Carolyn at camp and Dan thought he was taking things a little too far. Rodney then thought he came up with a brilliant plan to fool Mike into thinking he wanted to quit the game and had checked out -- just so Mike would play his idol.

Dan and Tyler didn't think Mike was going to buy it, and they were later proven correct. Tyler was completely convinced Mike was going to play his idol and then vote for him.

That night, Mike sarcastically noted that Rodney being "checked out" of the game just made him an even better person to keep around and potentially take to the end. Mike shut down Rodney and told the cameras he was going to play his idol no matter what because he wasn't an idiot.

Carolyn told Tyler that Mike was going to vote for him or Dan. Carolyn told Tyler he needed to win Individual Immunity and she'd play her hidden Immunity Idol for him if necessary.

Tyler trusted Carolyn because she had been his closest ally throughout the game. Carolyn, however, was playing the game hard and not thinking with her heart. She felt like she had become the one in charge since she could continue working with Tyler or flip and join Mike.

On Day 32, the Merica tribe met Jeff again for the next Individual Immunity Challenge.

For the challenge, each player was required to balance on a very small perch while leaning back and holding onto a rope above the water. Every five minutes, they had to move their hands farther down the rope, making it more difficult to hold on. Once a person couldn't hold on any longer, he or she would drop the rope, fall into the water, and be out of the challenge.

The winner would earn a one in six shot of winning the game. Will was out of the challenge first, followed by Dan, Sierra, Rodney, Mike, Tyler, and finally Carolyn.

Carolyn won her second immunity necklace in a row and was ecstatic.

Once everyone returned to camp, Dan told the cameras he might be in trouble because there was a lot of talk about his Survivor auction advantage. Most people didn't know what it actually was except for Carolyn and Tyler, but it still made him an easy target.

Carolyn knew she had so many options. Tyler was a threat but getting out Dan would also wipe out his advantage. Dan was afraid and thought it was either him going that night, Mike or Tyler. But since Mike had an idol, he was more than likely to play it. Carolyn suggested to her group the guys vote for Mike and the girls vote for Tyler.

Dan brought up Will's name to Rodney, but Rodney immediately shot that down, as did Carolyn. Tyler and Will, however, discussed voting Dan out.

Tyler's plan was to throw votes at Mike and then two at Dan, knocking out both the idol and advantage -- ultimately sending Dan home. Mike told Carolyn he was voting for Tyler. Carolyn was strongly bonded with Tyler, but she said in a confessional that he was the only person who knew she had an idol, and therefore, he had the power to blow up her game.

At Tribal Council that night, Mike told Jeff that Tyler and Dan should be worried. Mike was excited to see the falling out and the majority alliance finally play for themselves. Dan admitted that two votes being cast for him at the prior Tribal "painted a pretty picture" of who's at the bottom.

Jeff then commented to Sierra that it was the perfect time to make a big move. She agreed and said everyone would probably be surprised about who's going home. Sierra said it was a move everyone had been waiting for. Even after Sierra made that remark, Tyler told Jeff he'd be very surprised if he was the person voted leaving.

After everyone cast their votes, Mike played his hidden Immunity Idol in order to not take any chances.

Jeff then revealed the votes. Four people voted for Mike -- so those did not count -- and two people voted for Tyler. The episode's closing credits showed that Mike, Carolyn and Sierra voted for Tyler. Everyone else voted Mike.

Before everyone left Tribal Council, Jeff announced that it was becoming clear the remaining castaways wanted to take the weakest to the end.
