A&E has announced the premiere of the second season of  Driving Force, a reality series that follows drag-racing legend John Force and his hot-rod loving family as they look to further their reputation in the NHRA.  The second season of Driving Force is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, March 27 at 10PM ET/PT on A&E.

The first season of Driving Force, which made its debut last July, followed John -- a multiple drag-racing record holder -- as he worked on rekindling his relationship with his wife Laurie and their three young daughters by brining them into the family business of hot-rod racing.

The second season of Driving Force will focus on John's pursuit of a 15th National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Championship, as well as his 24-year-old daughter Ashley's debut in the Funny Car division, which her father is also a member of.  Ashley is the first woman in seven years to compete in the Funny Car division, and she and her father would be the first ever father/daughter match-up in NHRA history if and when they were to meet in eliminations.

Driving Force is produced for A&E by Schmaguuli LLC.  Stephen Hopkins, David Schermerhorn, Brent Travers and Dan Partland are the executive producers.
