Estranged socialites Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie may be contractually forced into a fourth season of their Fox TV show, "The Simple Life."

People magazine Tuesday quoted sources saying Fox has picked up an option on the dueling duo's contract for another season of the popular "reality" show.
Hilton last April released a statement announcing she and Richie were no longer friends and hinted her new best friend, Kimberly Stewart -- daughter of rocker Rod -- would be a perfect replacement for Richie on "The Simple Life."
A Hilton representative told People no plans have yet been made for a "Simple Life 4" and Fox has made no comment.
The source told People among the ideas being discussed are following Hilton and Richie as they prepare for their respective weddings or even shooting the pair's reconciliation -- if that ever happens.
