The survey garnered the opinions of 3,000 individuals for the poll and when the final votes were tallied, it was the British culinary host of TV's "Hell's Kitchen" and "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" topping the list, said the Sun.

Right behind Ramsay in the list of scary TV stars was "The Weakest Link" host Anne Robinson, who's biting on-air comments garnered her second.

Rounding out the top 5 most frightening TV celebrities in the magazine poll was "Big Brother" contestant John McCririck, aggressive "Newsnight" interviewer Jeremy Paxman and TV's original celebrity chef Fanny Cradock.

The Sun said that Cradock's habit of bullying her husband and assistant on air allowed her to edge out illusionist Derren Brown and the BBC's "The Apprentice" star Sir Alan Sugar, who ended up at sixth and seventh respectively on the list.
