Las Vegas-based cast members of "Pawn Stars" are upset at the History channel for airing the Louisiana-set spinoff "Cajun Pawn Stars," TMZ reported.

"Pawn Stars" has been a huge hit for the network since 2009, making popular TV personalities out of the three generations of Harrison men -- Corey, Rick and Richard "the Old Man" -- who run the Vegas pawn shop on the show.

But TMZ quoted unnamed sources close to Left Field Pictures, the company that produces "Pawn Stars," as saying the Harrisons were "blindsided" when the network officially announced the "Cajun" spinoff a few weeks ago because they were assured no show so similar to theirs would be made.

TMZ said the cast and network declined to comment on its story.

"Cajun Pawn Stars," which is also set in a family-run pawn shop, was well-received when it debuted last week, the celebrity news Web site said.
