Despite Nick Cannon and wife Mariah Carey denials, rumors have swirled for months their marriage is on the rocks and new sources are emerging claiming that is definitely the case.

"They have been living apart for a while. This is not all of a sudden. There have been issues between them for a while. They are not getting along," a source close to Carey told E! News. "She wants to end it and it has been in the works for months, which is why her house in the Bahamas and the house in Bel Air are on the market."

The America's Got Talent host, 33, and Carey, 44, separated back in May and the divorce is "a done deal," TMZ reported.

Cannon and Carey have reportedly been living in separate houses in New York City and divorce lawyers are currently negotiating a property settlement and custody agreement.

Insiders close to the power couple told TMZ that problems escalated when Cannon appeared on Big Boy's radio show in March and named five celebrities he had slept with -- one of them being Kim Kardashian, which really pissed Carey off and led to weeks of arguing.

Cannon also reportedly told Howard Stern in an interview that Carey didn't have sex with him until they wed, which angered the diva even more.

Besides the fact Cannon has disclosed unflattering personal information, Carey is reportedly frustrated with Cannon's constant career gigs and the amount of time he spends away from their children. Cannon, on the other hand, has been annoyed that he can't even disagree with his wife on certain subjects because she's used to being associated with "yes men," according to TMZ.

Cannon addressed speculation of a pending divorce with Parade magazine back in May.

"You kind of have to ignore it because every week it's something different, and if you paid attention to it, it actually probably would start really affecting you," Cannon said. "There's no merit or truth to it. It's kind of humorous, really. It couldn't be further off from the truth, and it really affects the credibility of the so-called newspapers."

Carey and Cannon wed in April 2008 and welcomed their twins in April 2011. They apparently renew their vows every year as a way to celebrate their anniversary.
