Taylor Frankie Paul's The Bachelorette season hasn't even been released yet, but The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has already revealed how her journey ends -- and what happened afterwards.

Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which was released September 10 on Hulu, spoiled Taylor's Final 3 The Bachelorette suitors and revealed that she got engaged to Doug Mason at the end of filming, People reported.

And in perhaps the biggest spoiler of all, Mormon Wives reportedly showed how Taylor's relationship with Doug unraveled once she returned home to Utah because she cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen and possibly one more man.
On The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' new season, Jessi Draper, Mikayla Matthews and Mayci Neeley met Taylor's Final 3 bachelors -- Doug, Dane and Lou -- while The Bachelorette was filming late last year, and they apparently had a clear preference.

"Dane and Lou were amazing. We loved them," Jessi said in a confessional during Episode 1 of Mormon Wives.
"We said, 'These are the healthy choices. If Taylor's healed, she'll choose one of those guys.' And then she has Doug."
Mikayla was even more skeptical of Doug, a model and singer who was also pursuing a rap career under the name "Toned Bone."
"How do I put this kindly?" Mikayla told the cameras. "It just felt like he was hiding something or putting on a performance or a show. He wasn't being very authentic. He's basically Dakota."
Despite her friends' reservations, Taylor admitted she had been drawn to Doug from the beginning of The Bachelorette.

"I am engaged to Doug. He was the one that I liked from Night 1," Taylor revealed. "There was instant chemistry the entire time."
Taylor said she hadn't necessarily expected the relationship to end in an engagement, but Doug proposed at the last minute and she accepted.
"It was just like a lot, in the moment," she admitted.

But the feelings Taylor had for Doug while taping The Bachelorette apparently faded once she returned to the real world.

Once she was back in Utah, Taylor said she began seeing Dakota again, despite still being engaged.
When a producer asked whether any part of her thought she "probably shouldn't" be hooking up with Dakota, Taylor acknowledged that she knew what she was doing was wrong.
"There's a part of me... I think that's every single time I do that with him," Taylor said of her baby daddy.
"And so the fact that I am engaged to Doug, that I think is where things get a little like trickier."
Taylor compared her pull toward Dakota -- the father of her youngest child, son Ever True, 2 -- to an addiction.

"When you have an addiction, there's not a lot of things that are more powerful than that drug," she explained.
When Taylor told her friends that she and Dakota had continued their relationship, Jessi bluntly pointed out that Taylor had cheated on her fiance.
"It's messed up, cheating in any capacity," Mikayla agreed in a confessional. "And even though the Toned Bone wasn't my top choice, or top second choice, or third or fourth, it's wrong."
While Taylor was engaged to Doug, she also reconnected with former flame Ben Lambert, who reached out just days after she returned home from filming, according to Us Weekly.

Taylor initially struggled with the idea of telling Doug what happened, particularly because she had begun questioning his intentions herself.
"I still am thinking about him, but he's been very distant, so I don't even really want to tell Doug, but I know that I have to," Taylor noted.
After Doug asked for a three-day break from communicating -- which Taylor viewed as a red flag -- Taylor said she began wondering whether their engagement had ever been as genuine as she thought.
"Maybe Doug didn't even really, really love me," she wondered. "Does this guy even really like me, or does he have a motive here? Like, 'I want to be a singer, I want to be whatever.'"
Taylor ultimately revealed that she and Doug reunited for a "happy couple" visit -- a private meeting set up by The Bachelorette producers -- but the reunion convinced her that their engagement needed to end.
"There was a point that it clicked. I was like, 'This isn't going to work, and I'm going to break it off,'" Taylor recalled.

She elaborated, "I didn't know he was trying to be an upcoming artist until up to the very end. In his mind, I think he probably convinced himself, 'Well, we can get engaged. Give everyone a happy ending here. Figure it out after the fact.' So I broke it off."
While Taylor confessed she felt "relieved" -- like she could finally "breathe" again -- after their breakup, she feared getting "annihilated by everyone" in Bachelor Nation for having a "horrible" The Bachelorette outcome.
Miranda, however, comforted Taylor by saying she has the tools to handle adversity, to which Taylor joked that nothing could be worse than spending time in jail.
Taylor was arrested in February 2023 for an altercation with Dakota.
Taylor and Dakota have been embroiled in a legal and custody dispute for months now. Taylor's The Bachelorette season was canceled in March and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives briefly halted production on Season 5 over all the drama.
