Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino says he's remained sober following his stint in rehab, denying a recent report which claimed he's drinking again.

"He was at the pool at the London in a cabana with twelve other people and there was a pitcher of sangria for the other people," the Jersey Shore star's representative said in a statement obtained by E! News. "He did not drink any alcohol."

According to a Us Weekly report published Wednesday, Sorrentino "isn't sober anymore" and the reality TV star was spotted "downing so many cocktails, he could barely stand" while at the London hotel in West Hollywood on September 26.

Sorrentino finished rehab in early April after entering a treatment program for a prescription drug dependency problem. He reportedly told MTV News in May alcohol wasn't even a factor in why he sought treatment.

"It was strictly painkillers and I never mixed them either, even on Jersey Shore, which obviously people have seen me with a drink in my hand and I was never drunk," Sorrentino said of his previous addiction. "I was the guy that was the ladies man. You know, you can't get girls if you can't speak to them. So drinking was definitely not an issue for me."

With Jersey Shore's sixth season -- which will be the show's last edition -- premiering tonight on MTV at 10PM ET/PT, Sorrentino told E! News on Wednesday his co-stars were worried at first about him returning to the show after participating in rehab.

"A lot of people said that wasn't a good environment for me," he explained. "Actually it was the opposite. I think it was a really good environment because I was so used to being with these guys every summer. This is normality for me."
