Married at First Sight star Deonna McNeill feels Amber Bowles should dump Matthew Gwynne on "Decision Day" because she doesn't think Matt makes her feel good about herself or is The One.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Deonna, her co-star Jamie Thompson, and MAFS expert Pastor Calvin Roberson met with host Jamie Otis to discuss Amber and Matt's strained relationship on the Lifetime reality series' ninth season.

Amber has been shown putting all of her effort into making her marriage work, but Matt has been portrayed as selfish and largely indifferent towards his wife.

Amber's accused Matt of hanging out with his friends every day and sleeping out with little to no communication between them, and she has said his words don't match up with his actions.

"Do you think it's in her best interest to stay in this marriage or just call it quits on Decision Day? Be honest," Otis asked the group on Unfiltered.

"I don't think she should stay with him on Decision Day," Deonna admitted.

"No one should ever make you feel less than what you are. And you shouldn't want to make yourself feel like I need to change to be with someone. So I don't think that he's The One."

Otis then asked Deonna -- who married Gregory Okotie on Married at First Sight -- if there's anything Amber could do to better her relationship with the former pro basketball player.

"I honestly think that it's all on Matt. She's giving 150 percent in this marriage and there isn't anything that she can do," Deonna said.

"It's not her. This is him. That's something that he has to work through."

Otis then chimed in, "If he doesn't love her for her, then goodbye, Matt!"

Thompson also shared his thoughts on the subject and seemed to agree with Deonna for the most part.

"I could put myself in her shoes because, like, I came into this whole process and experiment the same way, like, ready to give it all and ready to find my person," explained Thompson, who wed Elizabeth Bice on Married at First Sight.

"So, it sucks. But yeah, I mean, if it's not happening, he's not the right one."

Otis pointed out Matt didn't seem to be the right person for Amber seven weeks into the extreme eight-week experiment, but she questioned whether there's hope Matt could change in the final week before Decision Day.

Pastor Cal reasoned, "It's never too late to turn the corner and change your behavior. There has to be some kind of epiphany, some kind of awakening where he realizes how wonderful this woman is that he has in his life."

"I don't think he gets it," Pastor Cal said of Matt.

"But as soon as that light comes on, sure, he can change. He could turn the corner. Absolutely he could."

On Decision Day, each of Married at First Sight's four couples will have to decide whether they want to stay married or get a divorce.

While Amber has been desperate to save her marriage and expressed on numerous occasions she'd like to spend forever with Matt, her best friend Raven claimed in the latest episode he had spotted Matt at a bar with another woman and the pair looked like they were together.

Amber bawled her eyes out at the thought Matt might have been cheating on her throughout their marriage, but a part of her still wanted the relationship to work out.

The other Season 9 couple on Married at First Sight is Iris Caldwell and Keith Manley.
