Maksim Chmerkovskiy is reportedly coming back to Dancing with the Stars.

The professional dancer will be returning for Dancing with the Stars' upcoming eighteenth season, E! News reported.
"Maks will return this season as a pro," a production source told E! News. "Everyone's looking forward to having him back."
Both Chmerkovskiy and ABC declined comment on the casting rumors, as Dancing with the Stars' cast will officially be revealed on ABC's Good Morning America on March 4.
Chmerkovskiy's former tenth-season celebrity partner Erin Andrews will serve as Dancing with the Stars' new co-host alongside mainstay Tom Bergeron. Andrews is replacing Brooke Burke-Charvet in the new season that premieres Monday, March 17 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Since Chmerkovskiy announced his departure from Dancing with the Stars in February 2013, he's landed some small acting gigs, with a Stacy Burk "Til Your Boots are Dirty" music video being his latest role.
Chmerkovskiy first appeared as a pro on Dancing with the Stars for its second season back in 2006. He competed on 14 seasons in total, landing in the runner-up spot twice and also finishing in third place twice -- once with Andrews. He never won a title.
Chmerkovskiy was absent from the reality dancing competition's most recent sixteenth and seventeenth editions. However, he appeared in Season 16 to perform alongside his brother, fellow pro Val Chmerkovskiy, and again in Season 17 as a guest judge.
After Chmerkovskiy left Dancing with the Stars last year, he appeared on General Hospital in March 2013 and went on to star in "Forever Tango," a Broadway musical featuring fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff, that summer.
