Luke Pell admits he's writing an album of songs about the latest The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher.

Although Pell was depicted as a Texas cowboy and war veteran on The Bachelorette's twelfth season, he's also a singer and songwriter, who is apparently channeling his feelings of love and heartache from his relationship with Fletcher as musical inspiration for his debut album, Us Weekly reported.

"A lot of artists write about past relationships and current ones. You write about the good and the bad and the ugly as a way to paint of picture of what happened," Pell, 32, told Us. "You're a storyteller at the end of the day. So absolutely, there will be some of that about JoJo in my writing."

Pell's debut album will reportedly be released in January 2017, and he said there will be subtle hints in the songs about his time with Fletcher on the show.

"People will pick up on it because they've seen what happened in reality," explained Pell, who was eliminated from The Bachelorette in fourth place after Fletcher enjoyed a date in his hometown of Burnet, TX, with his family and friends.

"But I don't say her name. They'll be able to draw connections from what the music is saying. But I try not to go too cliche. I don't have a rose song!"

Pell, who currently resides in Nashville, TN, revealed the record will cover a wide range of his life experiences.

"It's the full spectrum of emotions. There are songs that cover the happy times and the falling in love," Pell told the magazine.

"But you're remiss if you don't cover the sad times too -- the parts that are confusing and the parts that hurt a little bit. People who have been through it themselves will listen and be like, 'I get what he's talking about!'"

Fletcher, 25, might have heard some of Pell's material already, as the handsome bachelor "did some writing" and even sang one of his tunes for her on The Bachelorette.

"I played [a song] for JoJo one day, but it never aired. I think she loved it -- I hope!" Pell said, although it's not clear whether this particular song will end up on his album.

Pell was absolutely devastated when Fletcher dumped him, but then ABC signed him on as the star of The Bachelor's 21st season, which will premiere in January 2017. However, hours before Pell was set to board a flight to Los Angeles to begin filming, he was informed the network had decided to "go in a different direction."

Nick Viall, who has appeared on three different shows in The Bachelor franchise, was then named the next The Bachelor star.

"Now," Pell noted, "I'm back doing what I love with the people I love. I'm happy and excited!"
