The couples who star on the spinoff are the love triangle of Megan, Michael, and Sarah; Clint and Tracie; Marcelino and Brittany; Scott and Lizzie; and Andrea and Lamar.

These couples, whether together or estranged, will continue to "face parole restrictions, temptation, and turbulence in their lives outside of prison walls," according to WE tv.

Former inmates Tracie, Brittany, Michael, Lizzie and Lamar will also be shown facing new challenges throughout the course of the season -- from raising children and buying first homes to finding work and trying to stay sober.

Below is the latest on each couple, love triangle or exes, according to Friday's Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup broadcast:

CLINT and TRACIE

Clint is a 38-year-old assistant manager from Hobbs, NM, who was married to Tracie, a 38-year-old whom spent nine months behind bars for fraudulent checks and probation violation.

Tracie only had five hours left on parole, and it was a really big day for her because she was also planning to meet Clint's family. The pair were also packing for a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Tracie being off parole.

Clint asked Tracie to dress on the conservative side and wear pants without holes in the them.

Since Clint and his mother are very close, Tracie worried Clint would come to resent her for getting in the middle of their relationship. Tracie wanted a good relationship with her mother-in-law.

Clint, however, didn't want to tell his parents about their trip to Las Vegas because he figured they would judge the decision and not be happy about it.

Once Clint and Tracie arrived at his parents' home, Tracie was very nervous about making a good first impression. Tracie really wanted a second chance and to have Clint's mother embrace and accept her. She needed the meeting to go well.

But instead, Clint's mom barked about them being late the second they had walked through the door. The couple was apparently 75 minutes later for brunch, so Clint's father had to leave and go to work.

Tracie thanked Alice for inviting her into her home despite everything that had happened. Tracie revealed she was about to receive her completion certificate for parole in just a few hours.

Clint told his mother they planned to live happily ever after together, but his mother said marriage is hard and they need to work at it every day.

Clint's mother then told Tracie that she truly, honestly wanted to have a good, solid, authentic relationship with her -- but she had to set boundaries because there was no way she was going to put up with Tracie falling back into her old ways.

Clint's mother said she didn't want drugs to be a part of Tracie's life again. She wanted the best for them and said Tracie had to make an everyday effort and a daily vow not to abuse drugs.

Tracie acknowledged she had lost 10 years from her life due to "stupidity and selfishness." Tracie clearly regretted being an addict.

"You have to prove yourself to me, Tracie. I have a big thing about trust. If you break that trust with me, I am through," Clint's mom said.

Clint needed his mother to understand Tracie had made mistakes but was turning over a new leaf. Even Clint owned up to hiding things from his mother.

ANDREA and LAMAR

Andrea, a 39-year-old Mormon property manager, was married to Lamar, a 42-year-old student and rapper.

One day after Lamar's release from prison, the family decorated their Christmas tree. Andrea said she lived for sweet, family moments such as these. There was dinner and pie ready, and she called the day "enchanting."

The Christmas tree didn't mean much to Lamar because a good holiday to him in jail meant receiving milk and a cookie, but he was still a good sport for the kids.

However, when Andrea wanted to watch Christmas movies and drink hot chocolate as a family, Lamar said he had "some things to do." He also wanted to spend time with his brother.

The kids were clearly upset with Lamar and called him "immature." Andrea's daughter also noted Lamar didn't make great decisions when he hung around with the wrong people. Andrea agreed Lamar needed to be careful.

Andrea said Lamar was actually rearrested due to a gun being in his cousin's car, so Andrea didn't trust Lamar's family and Lamar spending time with them.

Lamar said he loved his family but needed to adjust to being a free man. Lamar explained being in jail was like a constant "war zone."

"If he gets in trouble and he goes back to jail, he can come find us back in Utah," Andrea said in a confessional.

Lamar then met with his family and friends and revealed to his loved ones he had no desire to become a Mormon in order to make Andrea happy. Lamar loved being married with kids, but he was trying to catch up on lost time.

Lamar also found it difficult to date a woman who doesn't smoke or drink. He felt uncomfortable partying with friends as a result, knowing Andrea wasn't having a good time as well.

When Lamar's friend questioned whether Lamar was staying with Andrea out of obligation because she had helped him out during his time in prison, Lamar responded, "When nobody else was there, she stepped in. When everybody walked out, she walked in."

Lamar's friend, however, still wasn't sure that was enough for a man to want to spend the rest of his life with a woman.

SCOTT and LIZZIE

Scott, a 51-year-old trucker driver from Oxnard, CA, and Lizzie, a 41-year-old from Portage, WI, had parted ways last season. But both individuals clearly still liked and cared for each other.

Lizzie therefore decided to fly to see Scott in Oxnard, CA, in order to give him a second chance. She wanted to see if they could work things out although he had lied to her about being broke.

But when Lizzie showed up at Scott's door, a woman answered. Lizzie assumed the woman was Scott's ex-girlfriend Jasmine, but it was actually a new woman named Sharleen.

Lizzie accused Scott of cheating on her with Jasmine and slapped him in the face, but she was still flirtatious and playful with her ex. Scott, however, swore he never touched Jasmine and all they did was go for a bike ride.

Lizzie told Scott that she hadn't slept with anyone, and Scott told Lizzie he really loved her and she had caught him off-guard by calling off their engagement and dumping him.

Scott said Lizzie had been "like a ghost," but then Lizzie asked him to go on a date with her the following day.

"I have to think about it," Scott said, before Lizzie demanded she'd be picking him up at 10AM the next morning and paying for their date.

Scott told Sharleen he may not get back with Lizzie, but Sharleen predicted Lizzie was just out to get more money and would break his heart again.

MICHAEL, SARAH and MEGAN

Megan, a 29-year-old who works in home health care, was still dating Michael, a 27-year-old rapper who was married to Sarah, a 24-year-old server.

Sarah was ready to go to the hospital for induction and confirmed her appointment for the very next day. Sarah's best friend Emmy apparently had her back.

Sarah was anxious about the fact she was going to have two children by herself, but Emmy was relieved Michael was gone because he brought a lot of stress to Sarah's life and made her life more difficult.

Sarah didn't feel Michael treated her with respect, and she said Michael was going to have to decide between Megan or his family. Sarah wasn't going to allow Michael to brush his family off to the side for "somebody who essentially means nothing to him."

Sarah didn't know what to think when it came to Michael and his parole. She said in a perfect world, he'd be there in New York for the baby's birth, but she didn't expect that was going to happen given Michael was on parole with an ankle monitor on.

Meanwhile, Megan brought Michael lunch to eat in her car in the driveway of his mother's home in Flint, MI, since he wasn't allowed to leave the house without permission from a parole officer.

Megan also wasn't allowed to hang out with Michael in the house because of his mother and sister Dayday.

Megan said the last time she had sex with Michael, it was "a good time" and he's "the love of [her] life." But Megan had a secret to share with Michael, and she wasn't sure how he was going to take it.

When the couple got into the backseat to fool around a little, Megan informed Michael she had flirted with and given attention to his good friend Brock.

Brock apparently gave Megan money Michael owed her since Michael wasn't physically able to do it himself. Megan admitted she had sent Brock a picture but it wasn't a naked one.

Michael was angry because she could've had sex with anyone in her city but chose to flirt with and pursue Brock, who apparently tried to convince Megan she deserved better than Michael.

Michael said Brock was his friend since they were six years old and they took care of each other's families, so he felt hurt and betrayed.

Michael got out of the car and the pair continued to fight in the driveway.

Megan couldn't believe Michael was so mad because she insisted he had broken her heart once before and was left alone to pick up the pieces. Megan suggested Brock helped put herself back together.

But Michael wasn't okay with the fact the guy was his "homeboy." And then Megan confessed she had also kissed Brock.

"I kissed him because I find out you're married, I find out you've been f-cking her the whole time. I find out you have a baby on the way. All this sh-t that is going on, I find out after being down with you for two years!" Megan told Michael.

Michael suggested Megan was a hypocrite because she often preached to him about his mistakes and what he needed to change, but in the meantime, she was messing around with his friend.

"Okay, so we both f-cked up!" Megan said.

"What do you think is going to happen from here?" Michael asked.

"I don't know, Mike. I don't know what's going to happen. What do you think is going to happen?" she questioned.

Michael then got on the phone to make a call.

BRITTANY AND MARCELINO

Marcelino, a 40-year-old poker player from Las Vegas, NV, was married to Brittany, a 28-year-old homemaker from Las Vegas who recently welcomed their first child together.

Brittany was off parole and met up with her friend from prison, Sascha, who only had one day until her sentencing after six long years of waiting.

According to Brittany, Sascha had been involved in an apartment robbery that resulted in a double murder. But because Sascha never pulled the trigger of a gun, she signed a plea deal for multiple robberies. However, Sascha was still facing 10 to 30 years in prison.

Marcelino didn't want Brittany hanging out with Sascha because of her criminal record, but Brittany insisted she'd always be there for Sascha because they weren't just friends -- they're family.

Brittany thought Marcelino was coming around to the idea Sascha was going to be in her life no matter what, but Brittany didn't appreciate his overprotective nature. In fact, Brittany felt Marcelino's attitude sometimes brought her spirit down.

If Sascha ended up going to prison, Brittany wouldn't be able to visit her. Their only communication could be over the phone, so both girls were upset about that.

It hurt Brittany's heart she may lose her best friend and not see her again for a really long time.

After meeting with Sascha, Brittany returned home pretty upset and distraught. But Marcelino was more concerned with the car, as Brittany apparently left it at the restaurant so she wouldn't have to drive after drinking.

Marcelino said they needed to get the car so he could drive their child to school the next day, but then Brittany started swearing at Marcelino because she thought she had made the responsible decision.

Marcelino told Brittany she was just being sensitive and it was clearly a scheduling issue. Marcelino didn't think Brittany was respecting the schedule they had put in place, and he was frustrated she didn't see his point of view.

Brittany was tired of doing everything Marcelino's way, saying, "I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't."
