Leah Remini is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-time cast member for Season 16.

Variety reported the 56-year-old actress and outspoken former Scientologist had signed on to star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' upcoming season on Wednesday, and Remini subsequently confirmed it.
"It's true!!" she captioned an Instagram post featuring a screenshot of the report.
Leah will be one of two new full-time additions to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast for Season 16.
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum Tracy Tutor announced via Instagram on August 19 that she will also be joining the Bravo reality series.

Leah and Tracy will reportedly star alongside returning The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Kyle Richards, Erika "Jayne" Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Bozoma Saint John, Rachel Zoe and Sutton Stracke.
Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly are also expected to return as "friends" of the cast.
Amanda Frances, meanwhile, confirmed earlier this month that she will not return for a second season.
Filming for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' sixteenth season is reportedly already underway.
Several cast members traveled to Ghana to attend Saint John's August 21 wedding to Keely Watson, including Kyle, Sutton, and Jennifer.

Neither Leah nor Tracy attended the wedding, and Leah is reportedly expected to begin filming in Los Angeles later this week.
Leah's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills casting comes after a major change in her personal life.
Leah and Angelo Pagan finalized their divorce in October 2024 after 21 years of marriage. The former couple, who wed in July 2003, share daughter Sofia, who was born in June 2004.
Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' sixteenth season.
Leah is a big name for the Bravo reality series. She is best known for starring as Carrie Heffernan opposite Kevin James on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens for nine seasons from 1998 to 2007.

The actress began her television career with a two-episode appearance on Who's the Boss? in 1989, which led to her starring on its short-lived spinoff Living Dolls.
Leah went on to appear on television shows including Saved by the Bell, The Man in the Family, First Time Out and Fired Up before landing her breakout role on The King of Queens.
She later reunited with Kevin on his CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait, initially appearing in the show's first-season finale before joining its second season as a series regular.
Leah competed on Dancing with the Stars' 17th season in 2013.
Leah also starred in Leah Remini: It's All Relative on TLC, which premiered in July 2014 and ran for two seasons until it wrapped in July 2015.

She then starred alongside her longtime friend Jennifer Lopez in the 2018 romantic comedy Second Act.
Leah later served as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance in 2022, replacing actor Matthew Morrison.
Outside of acting and reality TV, Leah has become well known for speaking out against the Church of Scientology, which she left in 2013 after being a member for more than three decades.
She subsequently produced, hosted and narrated A&E's Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, which aired from 2016 to 2019 and examined allegations involving the controversial organization.
The series earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Informational Series or Special in 2017.
Leah chronicled her experiences with Scientology in her 2015 memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.
