As the Republican primary debate raged on, Kim Kardashian was able to score a selfie with Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton.

The photo was taken during an exclusive Los Angeles fundraiser event held for Clinton by talent manager Scooter Braun, whose clients include the likes of Justin Bieber and Arianna Grande.
"I got my selfie!!! I really loved hearing her speak & hearing her goals for our country! #HillaryForPresident," Kardashian wrote in her Instagram posting.
Other celebrity guests spotted at the event included Kris Jenner, Jessica Alba, Tom Hanks and User.
Before arriving at the event, Kardashian posted an earlier standalone selfie on Instagram proclaiming her wish to score a selfie with the political figure.

"Excited to be meeting our next President tonight!! Maybe she'll take a selfie with me!" she wrote.
